This was the perfect location for our family to explore Grand Marais and do some fun hiking on the North Shore. Kids loved the bunk beds, the kitchen had everything we need to make some easy meals, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were also so helpful with giving us information about air quality and conditions in light of the fires further north. It was a perfect trip!

My daughter and I spent 4 nights here and it was perfect for what we wanted to do. It's close to downtown, so we didn't really need our car for anything. We just walked. We took classes at the North House Folk School and spent time wandering trails and paths. The inside set-up was great, too. The house is stocked with anything we needed. We would definitely rent again if we're back in that area.

Very comfortable house in a fantastic location. The kitchen has everything you will need. Short walk to restaurants, stores, and the harbor. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

This was an adorable bungalow just blocks from all the best places in town. I found the. house cozy, welcoming and in great condition. It had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The hosts communicated great and I had an amazing time for my first time in Grand Marais. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Homebase for Grand Marais Adventures

Great, peaceful place to stay and relax after a long day of hiking/adventuring. Also, had amazing classic videogames I haven't seen since I was a kid! Overall, great place! Will recommend!

Harbor Home

We enjoyed Harbor Home and our time in Grand Marais. The house is cozy, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, and it is a good base for exploring the area, including the Gunflint Trail.

Grand Marais Bungalow

My son and I stayed here while attending the North House Folk School. It’s a short walk to the school and downtown. It’s an older home but is very clean.

Sweet little house

We had a comfortable stay for our family of four and the house had everything we needed for a quiet long weekend. The furniture and beds are all comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed to cook. Internet was fast and stable and the neighborhood is quiet. A lovely time.

Relaxing extended weekend

The house was warm and welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was perfect for walking to town and the lake. Also access to nearby hiking trails.

Very nice stay

My adult daughter and I were in town to take a class at North House Folk School. It was a short walk to and from school each day. This house had everything we needed for our stay and I would recommend it to anyone. I'll probably stay there again in the future.

THIS WAS AN AWESOME FIND...

This small home was perfect for our family. We were picking up the teen from Menogyn and perched here, we got to experience a bit of Grand Marais, the restaurants, the shore and the donuts! The space is cozy and comfortable and I'd happily stay again.

Such a sweet little bungalow and perfect location!

My two teenage kids and I recently stayed in this house and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size for our little family and we loved being able to walk to The Angry Trout, Voyageur Brewing, and all the fun stuff in Grand Marais. Our hosts were super accommodating and responsive. The house was very clean and was surrounded with gorgeous foliage including bright orange poppies and fragrant lilac trees. There’s even a tiny waterfall in the creek behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

North shore school

Was in town for classes and we were able to walk to school which was great. House was in quiet neighborhood. Host immediately responded to an issue. This was our second stay and recommend.

Perfect location and wonderful base camp. Very cozy and loved the vibe of the bungalow. On the drive up we stopped at Great Lakes Candy Kitchen, Castle Danger Brewing and Palisade Head. The night of our stay we had a short walk into town skipped rocks at the beach then had dinner at Gunflint Tavern.The morning we chose to have breakfast at Blue Water Cafe. Of course we had to get some worlds best donuts down the street as well. Stopped at the book store as the daughter loves reading. Heading home we chose to stop at Black beach and Gooseberry. We thought we needing to replenish some calories so Betty's Pies it was to complete the trip.

Loved Harbor House - fun and clever decor!

Really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, cute, and cleverly decorated house! Everyday we found features to marvel at - from the painted ship lap and correlated steel on the walls, the aqua blue velvet sofa, the fish themed pictures and more! The owners did a great job!👏🏻 Plus, it was within walking distance to restaurants, stores, galleries, and the lake. 👍🏻
