Everything was top notch. Clean, cozy and the perfect spot. They were very responsive and helpful in every way! I would definitely stay there again:)

Great place and excellent location! King bed was super comfy, shower was awesome, too. Highly recommend. Would stay here again when in Gainesville. Heads up that there is a flight of stairs leading to front door in case you're travelling with folks who can't do stairs.

Upon check-in, we discovered that the cleaning company had not yet cleaned the unit. The pile of linens was still on the bedroom floor, and the bed was stripped of sheets. I immediately contacted the property management and they offered to bring me linens and or have the cleaning company come right away. I opted for the former. Communication was fine. I would’ve preferred to have known that the property has a lot of noise from the road that runs along the side of unit. The sheet linens were made of microfiber, which is not pleasant to sleep on as it makes you sweaty.. The owner and the property manager were very apologetic for the problem and communicated wonderfully. Since the unit had not been cleaned, it did not have a great supply of coffee or tea.Hopefully this was just a one time incident. Location is convenient to the university within 20 minutes and to shopping and restaurants.

I also have 6 unique vacation properties in downtown Gainesville that have been successful for over six years. One of which was built and featured on the hit TV show Tiny House Nation! I learned a lot after going tiny on the show and I decided incorporate some of that in my new space. Along with design features inspired by my travels, I created something unique for you all to experience. I'm excited to share with you all my new space "The Guest House” in the neighborhood Sugarfoot. It's an open- concept guesthouse with luxury amenities.

This traditional neighborhood development is located 8 miles from UF Health, Shands Hospital, and the University of Florida. Haile Farmers Market happens every Saturday morning in the village from 8:30 AM to Noon, rain or shine.

Bike Trails
Bikers enjoy easy access to the Haile Loop, the 3 mile paved walking and biking trail that encircles the Haile Plantation community and has the village center at its heart.
The Loop connects up with the Archer Braid Trail, a paved 6 mile bike trail that runs parallel to Archer Road and dead-ends at the Archer water tower.

Residents enjoy easy walking access to the village’s shops and restaurants, including The Perfect Gift, Patticakes, Volcanic Sushi, Samba, The Queen’s Arms Pub, The Bistro, and Brick Road.


Sweet Paws Bakery is a favorite stop for pups and their owners. This cute shop features homemade dog treats, dog toys, and other goodies. And if you are searching for doggy day care for your pup this is definitely the place to go.
