NEIGHBORHOOD:
Located in a serene enclave, close to Green Acres Park with amenities like a playground and walking trails. Minutes from the University of Florida and North Florida Hospital, and a short walk to shopping and entertainment, our location offers unmatched convenience and tranquility.

GAME ROOM:
Our game room is a haven with a Nintendo system, work desk, printer, TV, and a cozy sofa bed with a queen mattress. A versatile retreat for gamers or those seeking a quiet spot.

BEDROOMS:
The master bedroom, with pond views, features a king bed, en-suite with a large shower, and a 65” TV. All bedrooms offer queen beds, premium linens, and 65” TVs for a restful sleep.

KITCHEN:
The gourmet kitchen boasts new appliances and is fully stocked. Our coffee bar includes a Nespresso machine for your morning brew.

LIVING & DINING:
The Pond House accommodates large groups with two living areas, each with a gas fireplace, and two dining settings. A spacious main living room with a large TV is perfect for gatherings and creating memories.

Two weeks, lots of room and well-appointed, generous basic supplies, loverly views and settings, splendid back yard, nice quiet neighborhood, everything worked well, very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Stay!

This was a GREAT property. Everything was perfect. We loved the house itself. It was the cleanest of all VRBOs I have ever ver stayed in. The property was gorgeous and the hosts had it set up with everything we could possibly have needed. Our only issue was that we all wished we had planned on staying longer!

Retreat!

What an amazing stay. I brought my extended family here to evacuate from a hurricane. The host was gracious, the property had everything you could want or need. I would highly recommend!

Loved the pond house.

Overall our stay was fabulous. The house is spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and many seating areas. The pool table is outside so it is difficult to play it in the middle of summer. All in all a great place.

Family of nine

Our annual family gathering was complete at the pond house! The space was perfect for the nine of us. The kitchen is stocked extremely well!! The bedrooms were cozy and quiet. The only recommendation I have for the home is to have a fan for the outside pool table area; as air movement would make this space more enjoyable with the Florida heat.

The Pond House is the diamond of my vacation season!

For Bridgerton fans, you know what I mean. The house is incomparable, sitting on its own pond. I was greeted my first evening by two deer out for a drink. Over my 4 day stay, I saw deer, turkeys, an egret, a blue heron, and two alligators sharing the same water source. The house was spacious and the perfect place to entertain my family in town for a wedding. The kitchen is the most fully equipped I have ever had the pleasure of cooking in. My sister was so enchanted, she went out and bought all the cooks in the family matching aprons so we had a souvenir of our time there. The indoor and the outdoor spaces were so well laid out and equipped. So much seating and dining areas for alfresco dining, informal dining off the pool and formal dining for those so inclined. There was dinner service for 16, plus children’s dinnerware for four. There are 3 different coffee makers to give you a choice between regular brewed, pod style one cup option and expresso with a milk foamed. I could go on and on. This house deserves every 10 it has received from its guests. My niece was so taken with the property, she is organizing a cousins reunion and plans to rent the Pond House for it.

It was wonderful. I’d highly recommend this property for any large family group The common spaces are large open and conducive to conversation. The bedrooms were far enough away that even those who wanted and early night were not disturbed. The backyard was perfect for wiffle ball, fishing and good fun!

Wonderful

The pond house is beautiful and clean inside and out! You can tell the host takes pride in her rental. We stayed to celebrate my daughters graduation and this home was perfect! It has a very large kitchen with plenty of seating and the outdoor area is amazing We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Awesome Property for Multiple Generations!

This house looked great in the photos - and it was even better in real life! My husband and I, 3 of my children and their spouses, one 3-year-old, and one 1-year old grandchild all stayed here for another daughter's wedding in Gainesville. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed with ample comfortable and attractive furnishings, excellent lighting (all too often overlooked!), a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen with nice appliances and everything you need for cooking and entertaining (also rare!), and plenty of staples - towels, bedding, paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc. - including hangars in the closets and laundry detergent! The ten of us were there from Thurs afternoon to Mon morning and we didn't want for anything. In the main house there are two spacious adjacent living and dining areas, the gourmet kitchen, a large primary bedroom (king bed) with a huge bathroom and closet area, a hall bath, and two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds. The house wraps around a sizable screened-in patio with pool, and, of course, the coolest space ever - the grass & plant covered enclosed outdoor game room with a terrific pool table and very nice seating! This connects to the wing with two more bedrooms and a nice laundry room. There's a nice side patio with grill, firepit and table. The lawn goes to the lovely pond and you can enjoy the view while sitting around a wood burning firepit area. Everything is first-rate here and we all wished we could stay longer!

Exceeded all our expectations!!!

We recently stayed at The Pond House, and it exceeded all our expectations, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating! The outdoor space is a nature lover's dream! The screened porch offers breathtaking pond views and the chance to witness wildlife. The lush greenery provides both privacy and beauty. Also, it is in a great neighborhood with close proximity to the University of Florida. An ideal spot for both tranquility and accessibility. The master bedroom, with its pond views, is a luxurious retreat featuring a king bed, en-suite with a large shower, and a generous 65” TV. All bedrooms have queen beds, premium linens, and large TVs. The kitchen had all new appliances and was well stocked with everything you need. The coffee bar which included a Nespresso machine was a great bonus. The Pond House is designed for large groups, offering two living areas and two dining areas. The quality of the furniture in both areas was excellent. We can't wait to return!

Great Family Reunion

We found this home to be perfect for our family group. We had a reunion of ten adults and ten children (not all stayed overnight) and the accommodations worked great. There was plenty of room, and the kids could hang out and adults easily keep an eye on them while spending time together. They loved the pool even though the weather was a little cool. The older kids hung out in the "game room" and we all enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen and open concept living and dining areas were spacious and convenient. There is a large outdoor area with a firepit. The big plus for us is that the location is near our home in the center of Gainesville, close to UF and the stadium, shopping, etc. We will definitely consider this property again for hosting a large group.
