Perfect for tranquil getaway but yet close to Kyle Stadium if you enjoy A & M Football (30 miles) or if you prefer Antique Days in RoundTop approx 40 miles
In addition Somerville, Brenham and Chappell HIll all offer multitudes of enjoyment from the Lake Somerville, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Brazos Valley Brewing, shopping, and the Bluebonnet Festival int he spring and Scarecrow Festival in the fall in Chappel HIll. Also in the summer you can enjoy the Lavender Farm

It wasn't so much the neighborhood. It was about the house and the pond outback. The covered outdoor porch itself was a big contributor as well.
