About this space
Amid peaceful forest surroundings, this detached coach house/cottage is reached by driving up a mile to the end of the gravel road. It is comfortable, with good cell service, wifi, and many amenities — private, but still but somewhat rustic. While located very near great fly fishing, hiking, and the many activities offered by Jackson County Recreation Complex and Western Carolina University, the cottage is situated on a private 50 acres and therefore offers a peaceful getaway.
Guest access
Because of the mountain road, leading to the top of the mountain and location of the cabin, it is advisable, though not essential, for the Guests to drive a 4 wheel or all wheel vehicle. Contact host prior to coming for an explanation and directions. We are told that the peaceful forest setting and great views make it worth the climb!
