The home was beautiful and comfortable. Perfect location for our WCU tour and for our son to fish. Suzanne was super responsive. Definitely recommend!

Excellent property! The house was perfect and everything immaculate! The deck offers a great view of the river and the sound of water rushing was so relaxing! Convenient location very close to WCU campus and a short drive from Sylva and Cherokee. Very clean and comfortable. Suzanne was a wonderful host . I would definitely recommend this property ! Christmas trip to Cullowhee

We had a great time. The house is located conveniently to town. Very nice accommodations. Great view of the river from the sunroom. Comfortable beds.

Hidden Gem

The property is extremely clean and up to date. The views of the river from the landing and the living room are excellent. We will definitely book this location again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home here.

My wife and I had a great stay at this property. Beautiful view of the river from the sitting room. Very comfortable home. I was in town for medical training. We agreed we would stay here again for future classes.

The place was immaculate!! It was just what we needed. She had pretty much thought of everything! We will be renting from her again for sure!! Being right on the river was so relaxing, listening to the water was just what our hectic lives needed to slow down. The beds were super comfortable. Our daughter is a student at Western Carolina and we were only 2 miles from campus, sooo convenient!

WCU Family Weekend Stay

Excellent VRBO! Our family stayed here for family weekend to visit our daughter at WCU. This was the perfect location, which was only a few minutes from the school! Everything was new and spotless and we had a beautiful view of the river! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. We will definitely stay here again, it was everything we needed and more!

River fun

Property was clean, easy to access and checkout was easy too. We visited our WCU students and spent much more time with them than we would have if we’d stayed in a hotel. We had river access and were able to fish. Our students made a nice dinner with the well outfitted kitchen. We loved it, highly recommend.

Great location, property, amenities, and views!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Suzanne’s unit 1 by the river in Cullowhee. The property is easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood with river views, not far from town. This was a perfect place for us to do the waterfalls hiking in the Caney Fork area and also in Cherokee. We love the kitchen - spacious, well-appointed with new appliances and new cookware. There are multiple wooden cutting boards and the wide single sink works well. The coffee maker can be used to brew single or a carafe. We had everything we need to cook and savor our meals while looking out the window at the Tuckasegee River. The beds are comfortable and so are the couch and chairs. The bathrooms are clean, well-lit, and stocked with everything we need. The laundry room is between the bedrooms and has pretty new washer and dryer. Suzanne provides timely communication about check in, WiFi, checkout instructions etc. She uses the chat in VRBO app to share information.

Amazing place! Great location to relax by the beautiful river! It was just what we needed while visiting WCU for college moving day ! It’s our 2nd stay and we could 100% stay here again . Very close to restaurants in Sylva, and Franklin. CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Ingles Markets and more places available for you nearby. The host was very accommodating and responded to communication very quickly. Thanks!

The apartment was better than pictured. I could have spent the entire eight days on the wonderful sun porch. Rooms are a very nice size and the beds are all very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent for visiting my granddaughter at WCU. Hope this apartment is available for all of our visits to Cullowhee!
