This lakefront loft apartment in Mallets Bay Colchester is a tremendous choice for guests seeking a cozy retreat, with dock access with kayaking and paddle boards. Close to the bike path for rides along the lake into Burlington or along the causeway to South Hero. Only a 10min drive into downtown Burlington. With a spacious bedroom featuring a king bed and a comfortable living room with a sofa bed, this place offers a soothing atmosphere for relaxation. Enjoy coffee on the screened porch overlooking Lake Champlain with amazing sunrises. Fully functional kitchen with all new appliances. Renee and David are amazingly helpful super nice hosts with a spectacular place! The view is spectacular and the accommodations are like staying at a high end hotel. It's very quiet and picturesque. We're looking forward to coming back!

What more could you ask for? Great hosts and the perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area. Convenient to the Lake, of course, biking the Causeway and exploring Burlington and S. Hero Island. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the great view from this relaxing and stylish loft.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and comfortable loft during our visit to Vermont. The location is beautiful and convenient. The hosts, David and Renee were great to rent from and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. It was wonderful having coffee overlooking the lake and taking their kayaks out. The bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We highly recommend.

The loft was perfect! Beautiful views! Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with us being on their property. The loft had everything we needed. 15 mins from downtown Burlington, but loft was great for relaxing and hanging out as well! David was so awesome with recommendations and helping us with anything we needed.

We so enjoyed our stay! Beautiful spot with great views and comfortable surroundings. Renee and David were great hosts - warm, welcoming and accommodating, while providing privacy. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Excellent accommodations for our short getaway. Renee and David were amazing hosts and helped make the stay that much better. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

This was a lovely loft with a view of Mallets Bay, the perfect getaway near Burlington, VT for a wonderful autumn season. The hosts are spectacular and will treat you better than any 5 star hotel, and the property is better than the images can show. Great scenery and food in the area, and a wonderful place to either relax or stay in if doing activities nearby. Would absolutely stay here again, 100/10 rating for this place.

The location was perfect for exploring the Lake Champlain area! Close to go biking on the causeway and kayaking on the lake. David and Renee were so friendly and welcoming- the loft had everything we needed and more. Would definitely book a return visit!

We had a great stay. The location was fabulous, the room was just as described with great views.The communication with David and Renea was great. We were able to meet Archie and Charliie and they were great and friendly. Thank you for renting your place to us.

We absolutely loved our time on Lake Champlain! The house felt welcoming the moment we walked in — spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. Waking up to those beautiful lake views was pure magic, and having such easy access for our jet ski made every day an adventure. We also had a blast discovering some amazing local restaurants. This place truly made our trip special, and we can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful gem. We arrived later than expected and were greeted by the host and given a tour of the property and amenities. We met their fur babies- 2 friendly, well behaved yellow Labrador’s . I am a cat person and their cat (purr baby) was very friendly - let me pick them up and pet them for a long time. Only saw him on check in day and check out day. Everything was as described perfectly - even better than expected. We have everything we could have wanted for supplies. We have been traveling for two weeks (3 Air BNB/VRBO) and this is our last stop before returning home - this is the first place that I felt really comfortable in and was able to cook our own dinner because we had everything we needed. You know when you are on vacation and you need a vacation from your vacation, this place was that for us. The weather was PERFECT! We lived in Vermont for almost 20 years and places like this really make me miss it. The views are stunning. I loved sitting in the screened in porch watching the boats go by and the soaring birds. We were so wiped out that we didn’t take advantage of the provide water sport activities but maybe next time we will. So peaceful. The landscaping is beautiful, loved all the flowers. On our first night there was live music across the bay that carried over to us in a very good way. Other than that, it was super relaxing and quiet the whole time we were there. The hosts were very friendly & responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfectly decorated and appointed 1 bedroom loft. Very quiet and cozy. Full size refrigerator and quality pots to cook simple meals. 2 friendly dogs on the property

5 stars isn't enough when it came to this place. Everything was wayyyyyy above my expectations. The location just overlooking Mallet's Bay was breathtaking. This place served as our home base while we explored the state up to the Canadian border. The state itself is severely underrated and deserves more attention. Dave and Renee made us feel right at home. One thing is for sure, this isn't goodbye. This is "see you next time", because we will DEFINITELY be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the loft! David and Renee were friendly and great with my 6 year old. My son loved meeting their two well-behaved labs, Charlie & Archie, and really loved the basketball hoop which David had set up at just the right height. The notebook of area attractions and restaurants was helpful (we really loved the alpaca burger at Pioneer’s!) The loft is clean and cutely decorated, and views of the lake are beautiful. The screened deck was our favorite. The area felt safe, and we enjoyed exploring the Champlain causeway and swimming in the lake.

Amazing stay at a wonderful, cozy, lakeside loft

This is a cozy one bedroom loft with a full kitchen, living room (with pullout couch), and a small screened in deck. It has a single flight of stairs to go up. The deck overlooks the property and the lake, where you can watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. Nice place for morning coffee or to sit and read at night when you get tired of fighting off the bugs by the water. Access to the water is by going around the side by the owner's property, and there are chairs by the lake as well. The owners, Dave and Renee, are the most amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and always available to help us out or give information when needed. Wonderful people and they really made our stay top notch. Their dogs and cats were an added bonus, as we love animals, so that was fun. It is an extremely peaceful & quite area, and a perfect place to unwind.

We are lifelong Vermonters that finally found our piece of heaven on lake Champlain. We love to boat, golf, walk our dogs and eat all the great food in Vermont! We have two awesome, friendly English labs Archie and Charlie and three cats.

We live on a lovely private road in Mallets bay with only 14 homes. We have stunning morning sunrises over the Bay. We have a nice dock for enjoying all the water activities like fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The loft apartment has its own driveway and is detached from our home allowing lots of privacy. The screened in porch allows guests to have gorgeous views over the water and it’s an easy walk down to the dock to enjoy a paddle or try your hand at fishing. The full kitchen has all you will need to make your own meals or we are close to many excellent restaurants in Colchester, Burlington and Winooski.
