Welcome to your peaceful retreat in the outskirts of Minneapolis! This private basement suite is part of an owner-occupied home with a shared entrance—the entrance to your space is just inside the shared entrance. Both are blocked off from the rest of the home. NOTE: you will need to go down 12 stairs to access the suite. So guests must be comfortable navigating stairs. 🌙 Below-Ground Comfort:
This suite is located beneath ground level, offering a quiet and cozy retreat. While natural light is limited, the space is thoughtfully lit with ample lighting throughout, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

• No pets allowed
• Service animals are welcome in accordance with local laws
🐱 About the Home:
The upstairs is home to 3 clean rescue cats, but they are completely separated from guest areas and will not access shared spaces during your stay. They can occasionally be heard overhead when they're playing but this only happens during daytime hours.

• Enjoy the peaceful surroundings—deer and wildlife often wander through the yard!
• Just 3 blocks to public transportation
• West End shops with dining, shopping, and entertainment are within walking distance
• Easy access to everything Minneapolis has to offer

I have lived in Minnesota my whole life and love the beautiful summers here. I am a healthcare worker and have served 18 years in the military. I enjoy traveling but don't care for staying in hotels. I enjoy hosting because it allows me to share my space with other travelers who enjoy the comforts of a home or require more space than a hotel has to offer. I have had wonderful guests from around the world and all walks of life. Hosting and sharing my home has been an exhilarating experience.

I love this neighborhood for its mature trees, friendly family-oriented neighbors, wildlife, and location. The neighborhood feels secluded while being only minutes away from everything Minneapolis and the surrounding areas has to offer.
