We had a delightful stay at the cottage. Great swimming in the clear water of Seymour Lake, excellent bike riding to neighboring lakes on quiet paved and-well maintained gravel roads (with plenty of hills for those who enjoy such things), a beautiful wrap around porch pretty much right on the water's edge with a beautiful view across the lake. The cabin itself had clean, cozy, quintessentially cottagey vibe. When the stars are out they are definitely out! Love the Northeast Kingdom!

This place was amazing! The views are gorgeous the home is clean and has everything you might need! The hosts were awesome and we can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake as we came for the fall foliage

Clean, quiet, comfortable, charming, front porch was our favorite area. Lake is beautiful and the loons kept us entertained. Great kayaking and swimming. Best night sleep!

It's been several decades since I had the opportunity to visit Seymour Lake. The views, beautiful clear water, and quiet can't be beat.

The lake side cottage was a peaceful retreat for my husband and I. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. The fall foliage and lake were absolutely breathtaking during our stay. John was a great host and can easily be contacted if you need anything.

What a perfect week of peace and quiet. The cottage, the lake, the location were all perfect. John was a great host, was here to greet me when I arrived to show me around, so much nicer than arriving without a welcome.Feeling wonderful and rested after my stay!

Charming, secluded cottage situated directly on Lake Seymour. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lakeside front porch enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the end the day. So relaxing listening to the gentle lapping of the waves against the shoreline and the calls of the loons off in the distance. Our host, John, was friendly and helpful responding to any questions immediately. We definitely wish to return to this beautiful cottage.

Spectacular!

Picture perfect accommodations and views. Truly wonderful stay. Peaceful, and well appointed. Check-in was smooth, cottage was out of a magazine. Two things for travelers to note: the shower is small, this was not an issue for us but if you are a large person, it may be. Also, the water supply is lake drawn. Again not an issue they do supply a water cooler, but the pump does kick on after water use and could startle you if you were unaware ahead of time. This cottage and our stay was spectacular. Perfect couples getaway. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

This is the most darling cottage on a beautiful quiet lake. Everything about the rental met or exceeded our expectations. Wish it had been a bit warmer out so we could do more swimming.
