The blinds were bent/ broken when we got there. There was a hole that was in the couch. The area was not as desirable that I thought Vrbo would allow. We ended up staying elsewhere.

We were in town for Milwaukee Metalfest, and this is exactly what we needed. Most of the day was spent at The Rave, so the location was nice. A 15 minute walk and you are there. It's an older home, but Antonio has really done a lot of work and I can appreciate that. The fair share of updates transforms the place really well. We were also grilling out front and chatted with a couple of friendly neighbors. A comfy place on a quiet street. What more can you ask for? Communication with the host was timely with any questions we had. One warning though. If you are allergic to Cottonwood trees, there is one in the backyard. When we were there in early June, it was in full bloom. A friend of mine was having a rough time with it. Other than that, I highly recommend and will be back.

Summerfest Getaway

We were mainly at the property to drop our stuff off, enjoy Summerfest, sleep and shower! Property was clean. Had a little trouble with the front door code but were able to get it to work.

I had high hopes about rent this home first one night with our family of six. The details state that the home sleeps six with the option of using the blow up bed and/or couch. There was no blow up seen in the home and no extra bedding. The couch was disgusting, covered in junk and atleast one burn in a cusion. The windows were filthy and we could barely see out of them. Most of the blinds were bent and broken. The lawn was not maintained at all. The grass/weeds were extremely tall and there was trash everywhere. The use of plug-in air fresheners did not disguise the strange smell in the home. One of our boys had a allergic reaction to something in the home, so we decided to find a hotel instead. We asked Antonio (the Host) for a refund or even just a partial refund to help cover the extra cost of the hotel, but he was less then helpful and refused. I would not suggest anyone stay here.

We did not end up staying because our charter was canceled. Even when I bought the extra insurance did not get our money back. The neighborhood did not seem very safe.

I was sketched out by the area it was in, but I'm not from there. There was a guy in a van right in front of the house for about 2 hours which seemed sketchy, but over all No problems. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable!

Great stay! All the comforts of home and convenient to all downtown destinations. Nancy was very gracious and accommodating! I would definitely stay here again.
