End your day cooking on the Black Stone grill and relaxing in the game room. This home is centrally located for everything on your Harbor Country to do list. Easy walk to Art Galleries, Distillery, Restaurants, shops and Theaters. Short drive to Lake Michigan, Wineries, Breweries, and more. Great location to access bike routes.

Everyone loved the property. Clean, organized, and detailed. Great quality of items in the house. Loved the national park decor theme. Host had phenomenal communication. Highly recommend this rental.

Tyler and his family are 5 star guests. They were respectful of the property, followed all of the house rules and are very neat and tidy. They have our highest recommendation. They were also understanding when they had to walk into a hot house after we were coming off of a 34 hour power outage.

The owner clearly invested a great deal of energy and love in making this property feel like home. One of the best we have ever stayed in. All 6 of us (my wife and I, my 2 daughters and their significant others) had a wonderful time in Three Oaks area, and were quite comfortable in this home. We were here for a family reunion, and expect to be back again. Hopefully Butternut House will be available. Thank you!

House was clean well furnished with everything except coffee creamers, until I found 4 hidden in door of refrigerator. lol. I slept downstairs cause my knee didn’t like the stairs and my husband slept upstairs cause he wanted a king size bed. But other than that the house was great!Oh no A/C just window units, I didn’t mind cause I’m always cold. Haha

Nice stay. Very friendly hosts and response time was great. Good communication. The house is a good size but there is only window A/C units which were kind of noisy for some of us to sleep well.

Everything about this place is lovely and peaceful. It was more house than we needed but it was worth it! Our dog enjoyed the yard and chasing (or at least trying to) squirrels and bunnies. There were dozens of movies and streaming tv when the weather got cool. Beds were comfortable. Everything you might need was stocked and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a great week/weekend in Three Oaks. The host was wonderful too! This is a great location off the main street and easy to get anywhere you want to go. We enjoyed the peaceful setting.

HOUSE IS VERY BEAUTIFUL. AREA IS QUIET AND THERE IS A LOT TO DO NOT ONLY IN THE THREE OAKS AREA BUT ALSO A COUPLE MINUTES AWAY IN NEW BUFFALO. THE OWNERS OF THE HOUSE ARE ALSO SOME OF THE SWEETEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER BOOKED WITH. THEY LEFT LITTLE GOODIES AND ALSO HAD GREAT COMMUNICATION. I STAYED HERE FOR A BACH WEEKEND AND IT WAS PERFECT.

Butternut House is an unbeatable choice for a visit to Three Oaks. We stayed 3 nights, along with our 3 adult children, our son and daughter-in-law. The appreciative comments were a constant, no exaggeration!We all noted the thoughtful attention to even the smallest details. It made our stay so easy and comfortable. Kudos to Jim and Amber!In all my travels, I’ve never stayed in a VRBO or Airbnb this generously equipped. We arrived to bottled water, snacks, and a well-outfitted coffee station (critical!), Bedrooms offer very comfortable beds, extra pillows, blankets, closet space. The 2 King and 2 Queen beds were just what we needed after our busy days. And all this in an immaculate space. We hung out in the 2 living spaces, the game room and the peaceful green of the back yard. The walk from our quiet neighborhood into downtown Three Oaks took only a few minutes. You can’t beat the location. Jim and Amer were excellent communicators, and always helpful and accommodating. I can’t compliment them enough on creating such a welcoming and comfortable destination. It takes a special eye to anticipate all the needs of travelers; they’ve hit the bullseye! Thank you, we shall be back!

This property was exceptionally well-appointed and accommodated our extended family with ease. The furnishings were comfortable and selected with careful attention to detail. We appreciated the range of amenities provided, including a water dispenser, coffee beans, grinder, creamers, and various bathroom essentials. Clear labeling ensured quick and convenient access to all items. The instructions for use of the home were comprehensive and easy to follow. A selection of outdoor games was available, with the ping pong table proving particularly popular during our stay. Jim consistently responded promptly to any inquiries we made.

This was our first Vrbo experience and the owners of the house we stayed at did not let us down. The house was clean, tastefully furnished, and comfortable. Everything was labeled clearly and we had no problems finding the things we needed. It had a big back yard with patio and furniture, grill, heaters, and yard games. Although we didn't have time to use the back yard, it would be a great place to hang with family and friends.I'm a guitar player and the house had a guitar hanging on the wall, which at first I thought was decorative, but discovered it was there to be played. The owner had thoughtfully supplied a clip-on tuner and even had a pick stuck in the strings. Communication with the owners was excellent. Thank you to James and Amer for a fantastic first experience with Vrbo.
