The host was very good at communicating. We enjoyed our stay. Enough room for all of us. Plenty of dishes and the appliances all work well. Nice and cool inside the home. The kayak and paddle board were nice and all the equipment is in the big container on the deck. I will say the rock/wood stairs from the top deck to get to bottom deck were a little precarious; especially for my mother in law and our daughter carrying a newborn. The solar light weren’t working and the motion light doesn’t go on until you are almost at the bottom of stairs. Wish there were lights for the bottom deck to help light the way down the wood steps. The fire pit was wonderful and there is plenty of seating there.

This is a very cute older house in the woods on a very steep grade to the water and dock. The path to the dock was a dirt and grass path, slippery in places and inaccessible for those who have some difficulty walking. The path on the outside from the top of the house to the bottom level was stepped but deteriorating. The exterior had to be brushed and cleaned before use. There is a ramp that leads to the entrance but is broken and not flush with the driveway needing caution when using it. Inside was a well cleaned home with aged but working appliances. Two toilets needed minor adjustments which we corrected. A narrow spiral staircase leads to plenty of room for a group with a nice game room in the basement. SUP and kayak were there but bring your own PFD for safety on the water. Overall our family had a great time in this house nestled deep in the woods with a wonderful view of the lake. The Host is very responsive to all questions or problems.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it and have taken it into consideration to make improvements. We have updated some of the kitchen appliances (new refrigerator/freezer and new microwave) and we built additional steps from the bottom of the stairs to make it easier to access the lake. We had lifejackets available in a bin on the deck- but I have updated the guest info book to include that information (there’s actually 5 available including several for children). Thanks again, and we hope to welcome you back!
