We absolutely loved our stay here! This is the perfect place for a couples getaway. It was so clean and well maintained. The host had great communication!

Great price for a stay in Duluth in July! Some nice amenities - full kitchen, nice shower. Ability to get breakfast or lunch right downstairs!

My wife and I had a one night stop over in the Duluth area and wanted something fun, quaint, modern and in a fun area and this checked all the boxes. The unit was incredibly clean, updated and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to shops and bars. The check in process was great, communication made the entire process go seamless. Highly recommend this rental to anyone needing an overnight stay or one that’s a few nights longer!

This was a wonderful place to stay. I am a 50 female and was traveling alone to a concert at the DECC. Very easy to get to and from the venue from this apt. Apt is in a part of Duluth that is revitalized. It is on a main street, so although there is some traffic noise, I always felt safe because there were others around. It is a full flight of stairs to the apt.The apt is lovely. Very welcoming, with just the right touches. Kitchen is well appointed, as is the bath. The bed is very comfortable, and I loved the pillows It is located above a little deli type place. I would have liked to have tried it but it didn't work into my schedule. Next time...

Bike Ride!

Arrived about 10:30. Drove to the bike path and rode 30 miles round trip! Great trail, great place to stop in Carlton for lunch. Checked into the apartment. Showered and headed to Duluth for a craft cocktail, ended at the Legion across the street from us. Ordered Chinese and crashed! Perfect, safe location! We had the best time!

Nice Place

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay there. The host was very friendly and responsive.I took off a star for accuracy of listing because it did not mention that it was an upstairs apartment. It is not handicapped accessible.I took off a star for check in process because the building did not have An easily visible address. We must have circled it a few times before getting out and look around for the address.But that did not stop us from enjoying the place!! Worth the stay!!

Space was beautifully renovated! Unfortunately listing didn't mention second floor, no elevator, with 21 nearly vertical stairs. Sorry, but property fronts on to a very busy street near a city bus stop. Loud all night long. Easy to drive anywhere in Duluth, but not much within a 1 mile walk. Bike path nearby. Wish I had more good to say because it was so nicely renovated and looked just like the pictures.

I’d just wish the directions said “Above Shake It!” Life would have been so much easier! We drove around for quite a while trying to find the place, and at that time of night, it didn’t feel particularly safe. Giving such a simple landmark would make a huge difference, especially since the protein shake shop isn’t open late, so mentioning it wouldn’t cause any inconvenience.I also didn’t receive the check-in information for quite some time. I tried reaching the host during the day but wasn’t able to get a response when l called. Thankfully, she responded later that night, and we were finally able to find the place and get in.That said, once we were inside, it was absolutely beautiful. I could honestly have stayed there for an entire weekend. The accommodation itself was lovely; clearer directions and more timely check-in communication would have made the experience so much easier and more comfortable.

Super comfortable, very clean, responsive and friendly and helpful host.FYI, 21 steps up to the apartment. I totally missed that in the listing. I will definitely stay again if I am ever in the area.

There is a very steep narrow staircase that was not disclosed in the listing. As an over 75 year old couple this was incredibly difficult. We did reach out to the hosts regarding stairs about 3 hours prior to arrival as we started looking at reviews and saw several complaints about stairs. Sadly we didn’t get a response until we were checked in. Had we known about this issue we’d have booked elsewhere.

The place was clean and well kept, but the stairs up to the entry are very steep. We are on the other side of young so that was a bit of a challenge. The kitchen is sparsely stocked with dishes if one wanted to cook a full meal. The windows look directly onto a busy and noisy street. Overall it was ok for our needs for one night but we would not care to stay for an extended time.

This studio apartment was the perfect stay for me for just under a weeks worth of time. I was staying here while in between places while moving and it was a relaxing, cozy and beautiful A/C filled space which kept me very happy. I did have guests staying next door some nights with crying babies and kids making noise in the morning, but you cannot control that, and that was not the properties fault, people with babies gotta take vacations too... ya know? Anyway, this space was lovely and the complementary popcorn was so delicious and the bed was so comfy. Thank you for an amazing and very needed relaxing stay Heirloom Vacation Rentals!
