**DICKERMAN COTTAGE. Located on cottage row in the Historic area of Mount Dora**

A perfect retreat. Just a short walk to historic downtown Mount Dora. Enjoy nearby shops, cafes and galleries. Located in an established neighborhood amongst other renovated historical cottages. Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1955, this inviting home has been lovingly brought up to date. The large bedroom offers a queen sized bed , a desk for your laptop or reading. In the living room, a full size sleeper sofa and a generous window seat easily accomodates overnight guests or afternoon naps. Throughout, large windows and glass paneled doors fill interiors with natural light.

Brick paver area also includes a patio set. A gas grill is also available for your culinary delights!

Was a delight

This was such a nice cute little cottage. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay, and we can't wait to stay again when we go back. It was so cute and comfy and incredible attention to detail. Only a few blocks away from the main shops. Definitely would recommend it to others.

Cozy cottage

Perfect location near the charming town of Mount Dora. The cottage was even better in person! Spotless and inviting atmosphere with beautiful music and warm lighting greater us when we arrived. Would love to stay again soon.

Great Stay

The cottage is quaint and charming. It has everything a couple needs. It is located close to historic Mt. Dora downtown and served as a base for exploring. The weather was great. My only suggestion is 2 ply toilet paper.

Beautiful Cottage in Great Location

Beautiful cottage in great location-Was very clean, great decor, walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and comfy bed. The reading nook was great too! Thanks for our stay. Can we reserve now for next year? :)

Idyllic getaway

The cottage is immaculate. The town of Mt Dora is like walking into another world. To decribe the area would be an injistice. There are hills and large oak trees that are just beautiful. John the owner is awesome!

We were thrilled with the Dickerman Cottage at Mt Dora, Fl. The cleanliness was immaculate and the furnishings made us feel at home. Everything was as described by the owner, John. Downtown was just a short walk which was great because of the town’s. limited parking. Great Experience!

Art & Soul

John’s well-equipped cottage is nestled in the perfect, peaceful neighborhood and also an easy walk to all downtown Mt. Dora has to offer. John is a wonderful person and host - just a joy to encounter. I came for a solo art and rest retreat and the cottage was perfect for me - comfy bed, lovely courtyard for private outdoor space, well-stocked kitchen that met all my needs. Just a gem of a place - thank you, John!

The Perfect Getaway

Oh, what a delightfully quaint cottage. Soothing music greets you as soon as you open the door. The cottage is immaculately clean. Attention has been paid to every detail, including lovely fragrence oil placed in the entry and quality mattress and pillows. The furnishings are comfortable. You will feel like this is a home away from home. John is a wonderful host and extremely responsive.

A Delightful Surprise!

We made a last minute reservation for an arts and crafts festival weekend... we were not having much luck until my daughter suggested we check out VRBO and we tripped into this wonderful surprise! Dickerman Cottage was way more than we expected, think Chip and Joanna Gaines Fixer Upper delight! The interior of this little place had so much charm. Everywhere we looked there was some other little detail to experience. Absolutely loved every minute of our experience there and can't think of anything we could suggest to make the placer better. We definitely plan on returning.
