This Lake Junaluska house (3 queen size beds) is just the right fit for a family and friends wanting to stay in the mountains. You have a year round view of the mountains and the lake from your decks, screened in porch and two sunrooms. Ask if you need room for more than 6 people if using sleeping bags.
Time to plans for your vacation at this Lake Junaluska home that sits in a perfect location. Only five minutes to I-40 which makes your trip to Asheville or drive to picnic in the Blue Ridge or Smoky Mountains Parkway very easy. Only five minutes to beautiful downtown Waynesville or Maggie Valley. Located one block from walking trail around the lake which makes for a relaxing hike or an easy walk to any of the conference and activities
The house with all the windows you get to feel and see the beauty of the mountains and lake. The two sunrooms one off the kitchen and the other of the main bedroom gives you a chance to catch up on that book, watch the birds or just relax.
As a traveler, you'll delight in the property's array of amenities, including cable T.V., Wi-Fi, and a convenient washer and dryer. Indulge in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare delicious meals. We had an excellent stay in this spacious, warm home. The two sunrooms were bright and relaxing, and the screened porch quickly became our favorite spot for eating outside and playing games. The kitchen’s generous size made meal prep easy and comfortable for our group. The house offers plenty of both public and private spaces, giving everyone room to be together or take a little quiet time apart. It’s a very inviting place and perfect for a comfortable getaway.

Beautiful decks/ covered and screened porches set in trees. Great kitchen … location close to the lake. Views of lake were minimal due to tree sizes except in dinette area and sunroom. Convenient location on quiet side of lake. Owner provided essentials for stay and all beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels.

A wonderful summer getaway at Lake Junaluska! The house is conveniently located near assembly amenities-we availed ourselves of the tennis courts and the daily walk around the lake.The house has every amenity, fully-stocked kitchen!We LOVED the screened in porch and bird watching daily. Day trips up to the Parkway and pancakes at nearby Joey’s Pancake House in Maggie Valley made for a relaxing time with our family!Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Our family felt right at home here. We loved the views of the mountains and lake. It is a very short walk to the lake although a steep hill coming back. The house is lovely and the best feature for us was all the gathering spaces inside and out. It was a perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. Host was kind and helpful.

Great vacation stay!
My family had a great time at this home for our vacation. I highly recommend for anyone looking for vacation at Lake Junaluska to reserve this home now. We felt at home away from home as soon as we walked in, very clean & cozy.

Nice lake house!

Wonderful getaway on Lake Junaluska!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is so cozy and comfortable. It is ideally located and easy to get to. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We loved our stay here. The screened porch in the trees is lovely. An easy walk to the lake. Hope to return again!

Homebase for a Busy Week
This place feels a little like home away from home because we've stayed numerous times. This year was an especially busy year at Lake J, and this place was a perfect place to rest, gather one's thoughts and entertain friends. Alice is always a gracious host.

Great property in an excellent location
The location and neighborhood of the house is practically perfect for exploring the mountains or just relaxin and recharging in pure western NC beauty. It’s also clean, well maintained, and easy. It was a great overall house rental experience!

Perfectly Lovely
The space is beautifully laid out, the kitchen is spacious, and the birds are entertaining. This was our second stay here and we'll absolutely return in the future.

Great Views with everything we needed for a relaxing visit!
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the view of the lake, beautiful kitchen, watching the birds and squirrels and strolling through downtown. Our stay was a much needed getaway and we can't thank you enough for sharing your lovely home.

I remodeled most of the house adding comfort and coziness. I enjoy all the windows and large decks. I lived there for 30 years and decided to let you enjoy the house as much as I did!
