Everything was a described. We had a great time fishing and crabbing off of the dock. We didn’t catch a lot of fish or crabs but we went for a relaxing trip and that’s what we got. We did get a couple of good size fish.

Beautiful home that was perfectly located on the river. The fishing was great & the host went above and beyond. They provided fishing equipment, kayaks, games, crab traps, a grill & a great view. The property was well kept & clean. Highly recommended!

Perfect some one was always fishing, kayaking and eating! Host was easy to message. My friends and family loved being here!! There is a convenience store 5 minutes away. I forgot to say…good for furbabies !!!

Amazing!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The home was clean, well set up, bed's were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and had fun fishing. We were able to tie our boat to the dock easily even in low tide. The host was quick to respond to messages. We Very highly recommend this home and we hope to rebook in the future!!!

We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat.

Nice place, but their were ants in the kichen. Driveway not easy or convenient for truck with a boat, hard to get in and out

The photos are accurate. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The driveway is narrow if you are bringing a boat. Backing a trailer in might be intimidating if you don't have much experience. We didn't have an issue. Great location, a few minutes from the boat ramp and a dollar general. Solid dock for mooring and fishing. The laundry room downstairs has a chest freezer and fan. We didn't open the room until our third day. We kept extra ice in the freezer. We played games on the picnic table, the fan is a must in the summer. Bring mosquito repellant. We had three adults, 2 children. The house was perfect for us and we had a good time.
