Cape Ann offers plenty of historical exploration opportunities, from the hiking trails of Dogtown and Halibut Point, to art galleries in Rockport and Rocky Neck, to beach experiences at Good Harbor Beach or Front and Back Beach, to name a few.

The cottage has a small kitchenette that includes a full-size fridge, a microwave and two burner stove with a sitting area for two, and a lovely, well-appointed bathroom with shower. Located on a beautifully landscaped property adjacent to lush woods, the cottage also has a private deck with grill and a one-car parking space.

There are many excellent restaurants to choose from on Cape Ann, with Italian and fresh seafood being the local speciality. The "Lobster Pool," overlooking Ipswich Bay, is a favorite local summer place for fried fresh seafood and hot boiled lobster and lobster rolls within walking distance from the cottage.
