Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Enjoy lush mountain views from this quaint mountain cabin. Located in the picturesque Smoky Mountains. Perfect location to visit nearby Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Waynesville, Cataloochee Valley, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The space
This peaceful rustic cabin is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy mountain views from the front porch rocking chairs. This one bedroom and one bathroom cabin is the ideal mountain getaway. The large bedroom hosts two queen beds. The open great room includes the living room with a fireplace and sleeper sofa, dining room, and galley kitchen. You can finish off your evening around the fire pit on a beautiful night to share your adventures from the day!
Other things to note
The cabin does not have a/c, but that cool mountain air does the trick!

Max 2 pet allowed for an additional $25 per pet, per night fee.

For checkout, you don't need to do anything but gather your belongings and turn everything off before you leave. Please leave the cabin tidy, and we take care of all the rest!

The place was spotless. Property manager was easy to deal with. Location is quite with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Cute little cabin with a nice view. The restaurant just above the cabin had a live band playing until around 5:30 or so. It was loud but good music and didn’t last long enough to cause issues. Check in was a little difficult as I had not gotten any info from Vrbo about the access code but the owner helped me get in. Not ideal but it worked out. The outdoor fire pit was advertised but all the stones for the pit were placed in a solid circle on the ground (not in a fire pit formation). I had to move the rocks out and stack them to create a fire pit. Not a huge deal but that was a new one for for me! All in all it was a good place to stay and worked out fine.

The cabin was clean and accommodations were perfect. We had to leave windows up because there was no air conditioning. This detail should have been stated in the first part of the list of ammenities! I missed reading this detail. Thank goodness it was a cooler weekend. Other than the a/c everything was great!

Cabin/cottage was clean,, needs more light inside extremely under lit. The mattresses where less than to be desired to sleep on to say the least. Floor leading to bathroom mushy to step on and missing a section of flooring, one the chairs at fire pit was broken when i sat down in it the side arm fell off. Other than than that it was a nice place.

Several issues. 1. The beds are not queen size as described. They are full size beds. The mattresses on these beds have to be at a minimum 10 years old. Absolutely awful. The couch bed mattress looks like something a homeless person died on. The good news is it is also broken and unusable. You can see daylight around both exterior doors. Not suitable for trying to keep the elements and weather out. The only decent this about this place is outside. The views are great.

Host interaction needs to be quicker and more attentive. The host entered incorrect dates in the calendar, and upon arrival we were unable to access the VRBO. We then had to go through a third party to get the issue resolved. An additional problem occurred on the second day when we returned and the entry code did not work again. These issues caused unnecessary stress during what was meant to be quality time visiting my daughter and grandchildren.

The views were pretty. The rooms were just as cute as can be expected for a mountain cottage. We were up there for an event and wanted a secluded place to spend the night. It was perfect for us.
