Come relax at Elk Ridge Cabin. You can enjoy the mountain views and listening to the soothing waters of Jonathan Creek just by sitting under our covered decks. This charming and rustic hand hewn chink log home will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time.

Fully renovated, the interior of this cabin is as quaint and cozy as the exterior with a gas burning fireplace, hardwood floors and vaulted family bedroom loft.This private cabin offers a wonderful yard to sit in, relax, and play during your stay.

Elk Ridge Cabin is just one block away from the main thoroughfare to the Cataloochee Ski Mountain/Cataloochee Horse Ranch and 2 miles from the ramp to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can take a scenic drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky National Park or hike many nearby trails and enjoy the waterfalls and cool streams with a picnic. Maggie Valley with all it's activities and ammenities is also very close by, as is Waynesville's historic downtown. Walk to the famous Joey's Pancake house or just spend a day at your cabin in the mountains. Asheville is a 45 min. drive away and makes for a great day trip to visit the Biltmore estate. If you are looking for the "real mountain cabin experience" then this home is for you. It has it all.

The cabin is cozy, comfortable and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The location is right off the main strip of restaurants and stores. It's quiet and peaceful listening to the nearby creek. We saw elk twice in the yard.

Besides being a great location from which to explore the Smoky Mountains, enjoy tubing and hiking, listen to Blue grass, and still be close to excellent restaurants (You must have breakfast at Joey's pancake house.), this small cabin is a perfect retreat, being cozy, comfortable, and a joy to be in when we sat through a ground-shaking thunderstorm. Little things, like a wonderful coffee pot, a basket full of snacks, a comfortable bed, a shower that felt like one was in a spa, and soft lighting illuminated the very appropriate decor, mostly of black bears and elk, animals that we did not see during our two weeks stay in the Smokies! Bad timing, I guess.

We very much enjoyed the cabin, spacious outdoor space, decor, being surrounded by beautiful flowers, trees, the creek across the street.The two upstairs beds were comfy with nice windows with plenty of light.Today we saw a cow leading the way down the street with several elk parading down the street as they are making way for the rain to start.The shower has plenty of pressure. The cabin was spectacularly clean the property owner was very very nice she actually let us check in a day early and stay an extra day we enjoyed our stay here so much we definitely would recommend this to anyone and we will be coming back next year

Lovely cabin

The cabin was perfect for 2 adults. It had everything we needed for the weekend. Located near town and close to shopping and restaurants.

Amazing Cabin!

We had the best stay in this lovely cabin! It was comfortable, clean, and provided the perfect place to relax and connect as a family. We enjoyed cooking s’mores at the outside fire pit and watching the rabbits and an elk that were just outside the cabin. This is simply the best rental I have ever stayed at!
