Family getaway
I am a week behind getting to leaving a review, but better late than never! Over all we had a great trip with our kids. I will say when first booked it, the map showed it in down town Pigeon forge but once I booked it that’s when it showed it was actually in Sevierville I should have triple checked but it is fine it took us about 30-40 min to get back and fourth each way when we wanted to go do activities. The cabin was fine, even if it wasn’t the location issue I don’t think I’d book it again. The cabin was clean on the surface level, but it looked like it hadn’t had a good spring cleaning ever, it was super dusty on the walls, the blinds, decorations just a lot. My kids slept in the pull out mattress on the couch - I have slept on one before the one in the cabin was awful and so thin you could feel the springs and the frame itself through it. I felt so bad and they ended up in bed with us half way through the night. It also didn’t have any covers for it at all just a water protector on it, I luckily found some blankets. We attempted to get in the hot tub, but the water smelt awful, I’m not sure if it was stale from the cover constantly being on, or if it had too much of the chlorine solution in it, but it was bad. I didn’t ever reach out to our host, we honestly was out of the cabin most of the time besides to shower and sleep, so we just powered through it but again, I don’t recommend the cabin until they do a good clean, dusting, and get the hot tub figured out.
