amazing little cottage for a couple or two couples to enjoy, or even a small family. Had a wonderful weekend, incredibly clean and just such a pretty and peaceful property

Beautiful location, well stocked with the things you need at a VRBO. Absolutely fabulous porch with chairs to sit and look out at the lake. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

The cottage is beautiful and well maintained. You get low tide sounds from the water and a constant breeze. Host was very kind and attentive when needed. There are Citronella candles but I recommend bringing bug spray. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

A truly serene waterfront retreat. The calm water views, mature trees, private beach access, and comfortable outdoor seating create the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake. A wonderful place to unwind and take in the scenery.

This was a charming, fully modernized cottage on the waterfront with thoughtful nods to its history. A perfect, cozy place to relax and enjoy beautiful views, with easy access to the nearby town and restaurants if you must escape! Great for a getaway.

This was a very nice escape for a couple's weekend.The cottage is very well equipped, and we could see all the attention to detail the hosts poured into this space.The waterfront view was breathtaking. The private beach and waterfront deck area are wonderful. A great value for the price!The only complaint is that there are no window treatments in the common areas (kitchen, living room) so at night it feels to be a bit of a "fishbowl."Even so, we would love to come back again someday.

We had a great 2-night stay at the cottage, it was the perfect size and clean. The view of the water and the porch were perfect for the two of us.

Had a great vacation with my brother and his wife. Sitting out on the lower concrete pad looking at the water was absolutely amazing. Spent a lot of hours there. The cottage was clean however there were a lot of daddy long legs. It is very hard to get into the cabin if you have a disability or balance issues, there are no railings. The two steps in the front of the cottage are steep for someone with a disability and we had to use the kitchen door to go in and out, steps aren’t as steep, since there were no railings to hold onto. We put one of the kitchen chairs along the deck to use it as a handrail for balance and feeling secure. I wasn’t too fond of paying for an accidental insurance which forced me to do in order to book. This was the first time that has happened in all of my renting experiences. It took us a while to get used to having no coverings on the windows at night as someone previously commented that you feel like you’re in a fishbowl. We grilled out on the concrete pad four nights, which was awesome to be cooking along the water. The grill was in great shape. My brother told me the day we were checking out that this was one of his best vacations. I agree. The outdoor area is amazing.

This place was lovely and we appreciated the water, coffee, cream and all the supplies we needed. We were a bit disappointed that the fireplace wasn’t available for use as the weather was cool, cloudy and windy. Would love to stay again on a warmer weekend. Thank you for such a well appointed place!

This is an amazing property right on the shore of the Chesapeake. It exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning in the future with our two boys. The cottage is charming and well equipped. The local area of Charlestown and North East, MD were excellent and a great getaway for couples and families with lots to do. The host was responsive and maintains this property well. This is a hidden gem!

Richard was very helpful and wish that there is a sofa bed but everything was nice and clean. Love the scenery and the water. Will definitely come back. It was a beautiful experiece.

The Murphy’s Beach house and location are absolutely wonderful! Everything you need is there…kitchen fully stocked, beach towels, comfortable seating, outdoor hammock, grill, and more. The seating area by the water was really special! So comfortable and relaxing! The house really is waterfront! Great views from inside the house too! Everything was very clean and well cared for! The location is convenient to restaurants and things to do, yet it’s very private! We enjoyed our time there and will be back! Very thoughtful owners!

The cabin was very clean and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable. Sitting by the water was the highlight especially at high tide. We did float in rafts one afternoon but wish we had brought water shoes. The proximity to Havre de Grace was great. We really enjoyed the town, river walk and restaurants - Market Street brewery had good beer and location, Prominade offers good and reasonably priced food, Hopkins Farm Brewery was a amazing!Neighbors were really friendly. One even shared photos of the area when it was a popular beach/destination. Parking was a bit confusing. Follow the host’s directions to follow the gravel path by the black fence and park there. We confirmed with neighbors that we were in the right spot.
