For future guests, we’re exactly a half a mile from the heart of downtown Fredericksburg, or about an 10-minute walk to Marktplatz. We find it’s a nice balance between being close to the shops and restaurants of Main Street while still enjoying a peaceful residential setting. As a historic home built in 1906, Gold Haus does have some of the architectural characteristics of the era, including narrower stairways and a few changes in floor level. We certainly understand that these features may present challenges for guests with mobility limitations, and we’re always happy to answer questions about the layout before booking.
