Charming, Comfortable, Centrally located home 4 +2 1/2 (Sleeps 7)

This home, built in 1941 by the local pharmacy owner, has been restored to its original, cozy mid-century beauty with additional amenities. You can feel the happy family times in this house. June and Ward Cleaver would be proud.

On the main floor, there is the living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. A half-bath is near the kitchen. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms (one with king bed, one with two twin beds and one with one twin) and one bath with separate shower and tub. An ample, fenced back yard provides safe romping grounds.

Two blocks from the Roaring Fork River with its extensive bike paths, and four blocks from downtown, our home is centrally located with easy access to shops, restaurants, hot springs, spas, ski resorts, adventure parks, hiking trails, rafting, and... Shall I go on? There is so much to do in Glenwood Springs.

This quaint old house is awesome. We loved having the extra room. It was clean and exactly as described. The check in/out was very easy. We were really glad this is where we stayed!

Charming and comfortable stay

I adored this house and the location was just perfect. Walking distance to town and short drive to attractions. Nice quiet street with friendly neighbors. I loved the art art on the walls and the comfort of the beds - it felt like a well loved home.

Charming House

The house is very clean. Had a nice backyard for the dogs very close to everything in the heart of Glenwood. We were able to walk everywhere. It was very enjoyable experience. Thank you

So happy to use this house again!

House is located close to my son's home so we were able to have the grandchildren spend 2nights with us and let their parents have some relaxation. It was also a great place for our golden doodle Sadie.

Down the block from a nice morning coffee spot and walking distance to all the great vibes of downtown Glenwood Springs! Perfect yard if you are traveling with pups.

Lovely stay

Convenient location in Glenwood, walkable to much if the weather allows. Great place to stay if you are skiing in Aspen but don't want Aspen prices for lodging. The house was really comfortable for 6 people and was overall clean! Beds were comfortable, him is old and appropriately quirky as such. Highly recommend!

Excellent Place to Stay

Great and cozy house in the heart of Glenwood Springs; close to shopping, main street, super market and skiing. This house provided us extra space for our group and a prime location to be every where we wanted to be in a short amount of time. Love the place and would be back for sure.

Lovely Neighborhood

I really enjoyed staying here. The back and front yard with the kiddos was great. Perfect little neighborhood. It was close to the trail and downtown. We walked everywhere.

Place is older but has character of the timing. Easy walk to many restaurants and stores. Easy access to the bike path and river. Dog Park close by also!

Family vacation

Bf, 4 kids 6-11 and a dog. We did the Glenwood amusement park and the Glenwood hot springs. All went very very well. Took walks in the neighborhood and had Kaleidoscope ice cream. Great great location.

Great house in great location

Our group of 7 (4-adults, 3 kids) plus our dog, Pebbles, really liked the house. It is adorable. I myself do like older homes with the charm intact. The house had plenty of room for all of us, plenty of bathrooms/toilets and a kitchen stocked with all the necessities to cook, spices, coffee/filters and an ice maker. The backyard is fenced in for a dog. We were able to walk "downtown" to go out to dinner and shop. If it was warmer outside, we would have walked to the Glenwood Hot Springs pool. I love Glenwood Springs and will rent this house again should we return.

Great pet-friendly home close to all the fun in Glenwood

Plenty of beds! ;) Nice to have a queen bed and adjoining bathroom on the main floor for the parents, plus an additional toilet near the kitchen. The other bedrooms are upstairs and share a bathroom. Very well appointed kitchen - nice sharp knives. :) Large couch in living room and large flat screen TV for family time. Fenced back yard for our little doggie. On a one-way street, which makes one think a bit about how/where you're driving. Walking distance to the Rio Grand Trail and Doc Holliday's grave. Quick drive to Glenwood's many good restaurants and the hot springs pools. Definitely recommend. :)

Very Comfortable

Just as it looks in the photos. Nice fully fenced yard with a pretty garden. Comfortable furniture and beds! Donna was a very wonderful host and we would love to visit there again for sure! Stayed three nights with my daughter and her family. I recommend this beautiful and very well cared for home. So many wonderful original fixtures have been preserved in this home.Fantastic!

Charming cottage

A convenient location near Main Street in a neighborhood with historic cottages and close to the Hot Springs. Immaculately kept and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Perfect for our family with small grandsons and two dogs.

This property is consistently great

Several of my family members and I have stayed at this VRBO over the years. The best things about this property: the fresh and crisp bed linens, the clean kitchen stocked with pretty stoneware, the availability of a downstairs bedroom along with the three bedrooms upstairs, the close proximity to restaurants, the river and the hot springs and finally the fact that they allow dogs. I highly recommend this VRBO.

On first walking through the front door, this house felt like home to my mother and me, as if the people who had lived there were old friends, and we could remember the happy times. My mother bought the house tout suite. Not bad for ninety-three!

There is so much to love about Glenwood Springs:
good restaurants, the hot springs, great skiing and rafting, cultural events--all in an established community that is proud of its history and natural beauty.
