The house was very well appointed, beautifully designed and decorated, and in a great spot to explore the city. The hosts are very welcoming and checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the garden district with easy access to magazine. Everything is walkable and the French quarter is just a short uber or street car ride away. The home is well appointed,very clean and so comfortable. The host was amazing with communicating and providing all the information we needed. We couldn’t have picked a nicer home to have our friends stay in for their visit over Mardi Gras. They are accustomed to luxury hotels and could not stop saying how much they enjoyed the home.

This rental house kept all it's promised to be. Every room was very clean, and the house was well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, trash bags, etc., and other amenities. It's set in a quiet location with street parking right in front of your door step. Magazine street can be extremely busy, but since it's only 7 minutes away walking distance, it's ideal to leave your car at home and take a peaceful stroll through the neighborhood to your dining destination. It's also just a 15 to 17 minutes walk to the Saint Charles street car stop. You've got a Walmart Super Center about 0.9 miles away, and a brief drive into the French Quarter. The hosts are super responsive and always very welcoming and looking to make you feel at home. We can only highly recommend this wonderful Irish Channel home so you can experience the best of the lovely and magical Crescent City.

My friend and I had a difficult time rating this home. The home itself was lovely. We happened to visit NOLA during winter storm Fern. Our last 2 nights there were horrible. The directions for the heating system were non existent so I contacted the host, who gave me a one sentence explanation for the heating instructions, which didn’t help. I contacted him again the same evening without receiving any response. The same evening we had to sleep fully clothed with down jackets and gloves on underneath the blankets and were still freezing. The host contacted us with a little more instruction on the heating system our last day there. Since our flight was canceled to Philadelphia that day, we had to stay an extra night and couldn’t wait to leave the home to get to the JW Marriott for some warmth. I’m sure it’s a great place to stay without a winter storm but the lack of communication with the host really played a HUGE factor in our rating of this home. If the host had more empathy for our situation and had put more effort into communicating with us, and even had followed up with us, things would have been a lot different re this rating. We are not mean people and I have never given a rating this low, just hope the host realizes the importance of following up with his guests after this very uncomfortable stay we had. Wish the host nothing but the best. You live and learn.Best,Anne

We're very sorry to hear about your experience at our home. When you contacted us on the last night of your reservation, we did send brief instructions on how to switch the units to heat, but we never got a response back after those instructions were sent, so we assumed things had worked out. By the time you responded with the follow-up question, it was after our normal messaging hours, though we're always available by phone. We wish you had called us to speak to us directly and we could have walked you through this step by step. We are very sorry that this led to such a poor experience during your stay with us. We strive to provide our guests with amazing stays, and we're very sorry to hear that wasn't the case for your time with us.
