Great water and view, comfortable house and price. Kayaks free for use, plus easy rental of boats. Sorry, no pets allowed and maximum of 8 guests allowed.

The soft sands and protected swim area host a gorgeous getaway for all ages. We launch our kayaks, and rest our motorboats, at the smooth beach.

Few homes in Texas have the special combination of smooth water for sports, a view of mountains, a private sandy beach, room to bring your boats onsite and a very comfortable place to sleep 8.

After looking at many lakes and rivers, this is the best scenery and home for your budget. Visitors say this is an outstanding setting without blowing your allowance. Lake is always full even during droughts, mountain is striking to admire, beach and swimming area sand is nice on the toes. The house is so comfortable.

Designed for views of the water and mountain, the house is open and bright with lots of large windows wrapped around the house. We make sure that you have everything you need for a great getaway.

- Master bedroom has a king bed and full bath with ultra-modern frameless glass door.
- Second bedroom has a king bed and lots of windows.
- Third bedroom has four single beds and bright windows.
- The second bathroom features bright, happy decor.

This retreat provides everything you need for fun indoors and outside on the always-full Lake LBJ.

- Your own private sand beach awaits you, where there's a huge, sandy swimming area and room to park your watercraft. With a manicured grass lawn and a beach the size of Padre Island, we play volleyball, football, soccer, Frisbee and water sports.
- Some of the smoothest ski water on the entire lake.

Wonderful family vacation

This place was perfect for our family vacation! The river was easy to access via the private beach and the shallow end was perfect for our 1 year old and his grandparents. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the screened-in patio. The sun room is everything - it was a great spot to enjoy the beautiful views while sipping coffee or reading a book. The kitchen was nicely staffed with dishes/utensils and spices. All in all, it was a very lovely spot for our vacation.

Great for little

Perfect “beach” vacation for kids! Bunk room, sand toys, accessible (shallow) water - this is a great spot for kids under 10.

Great house and location

This house was perfect for us. Super clean, comfortable, cold AC, well stocked kitchen, etc. Loved the beach. Would definitely return to this part of LBJ and would definitely book this house again. Seemed like a great value.

Amazing trip

Such a great trip! The house had everything we needed. The kids loved the beach area. The kayaks were a blast and the lake was great. We were just around the corner from the boat rental shop and that was a blast! Great host, great beds, great views!

Lovely gem away from hustle and bustle

We have stayed at Scott and Jill's lake house in the past, and we were happy to return. What truly sets this property apart is its location. Unlike the developed and crowded areas elsewhere around the lake, this spot offers a pristine sandy beach and views of untouched nature across the water. The peaceful setting allowed us to disconnect and truly relax, something that's increasingly rare to find. Our kids (8 and 6) spent hours digging in the sand and wading in the water. As parents, we appreciated being able to keep them within line of sight through the large windows while we prepped meals from the kitchen or enjoyed quiet time on the patio. The house itself is charming and thoughtfully organized and equipped with everything we needed.

Family Getaway

Perfect location! We did not have to travel far from the restaurants/ stores and the boat rental place. This beautiful home with a stunning backyard will be a place we will never forget.

Awesome house on LBJ

This home was perfect for our annual get away to the Highland Lakes. We have small children and the water was perfect for us. Great for wading and enjoying the Texas sun. House was clean and had great amenities. Beautiful home that I would love to say at again.

Beautiful property

This property was absolutely breathtaking. The sand is so soft and clean; the water was pretty clear for lake water and the scenery was beautiful. The house is spacious with plenty of living area for people to enjoy reading, playing games, talking, eating, etc. I will absolutely visit this property again!

Perfect Getaway

The home is very nice. The layout made this a perfect getaway home for the weekend. We have small kids and they can’t make the long trips. The beach front area was a perfect substitute for the beach and the kids loved it. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing lake home with an incredible beach

We loved our time at this property and will definitely come back. The kids played in the sand for hours. The lake has very low traffic in front of this home and is very safe for kids. Our host was also very responsive and check in was a breeze. The beds are also very comfortable. We will visit again.

Returning Guests

This was our second stay at this rental and once again it did not disappoint. My two sons spent almost all day on the beach and swimming in the water. You can’t beat the location when it comes to a quiet, beautiful location with private river access. We ate all our meals at the house and found the kitchen adequately stocked and the grill easy to use.

Summer getaway

Great place to stay. Me and my wife rented this with our two boys 8 & 9yr old. We love going to the beach and this was great because its private and you don't have to deal with sharks. My boys would fish in the morning and evening. Golf was really close by and a pretty good course. The house had everything needed and was welcoming. Thanks Scott for the hospitality.

I can't rave enough about this property, LOVED IT!

This house was everything we expected and more! It was extremely clean (and I'm super picky). The beds were comfortable, everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. The beach and kayaks were fun, my boys had a blast! The host was very easy to contact and he checked in on us often. He even called the boat rental company for us to make sure the delivery of the boat was easy. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Our party included me, my husband, our ~2 and 5 yr olds, and a set of grandparents who joined for the last night. The highlight of the property was the private sandy beach and direct access to the water. Although the house is nestled on a stretch with other homes, it was as if we had the beach and water to ourselves (we were there Mon-Thurs, so it may be different on the weekend). Aside from the beach, we also loved the book collection, a well stocked kitchen, the dining area on the patio, and grassy hill that the kids ran up and down on repeat.

Beautiful Place!

We had an amazing stay with our family. The house had everything you would need and was very clean. We spent most of our time on the screened back porch relaxing and playing out in the water, which was a very short distance from the house. The water felt great and you could walk out quite a ways out on the sandy bottom. The host was kind and very communicative anytime we had any questions. All in all, it was a wonderful place to spend our vacation and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to do so. Also, a great place to bring the kids. We will definitely be heading back here.

Nice little getaway

If you want lake front property this is the place! The beach was clean, the water was clear and it was quiet. No crazy crowds as the properties are privately owned. The house was very clean. 3 bedrooms with 2 king beds and one room of 2 bunk beds. One bedroom had its own private bathroom. I really enjoyed spending my mornings on the back patio over looking the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing!! Thanks for having us! I definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here two nights in order to view the solar eclipse. The weather could have been a little more cooperative but the clouds parted often enough that we got a good view from the large backyard, which was a perfect vantage point. The house is spotless and roomy. We took advantage of the well supplied kitchen, BBQ grill and washer/dryer while we were there and ate all of our meals in the screened porch with a view of the river. Our kids and grandkids loved playing in the sand on the beach, swimming in the river and kayaking. It would have been fun to stay longer, but work schedules and a long drive home were limiting factors. Scott was a gracious host and overall we had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home with your own Beach!

The house is very lovely and I loved the sun room and back screened in patio. This place is seriously a hidden gem, the beach alone is what males it so awesome but the small cute house that has everything is pretty rad. I grilled on the charcoal grill all 3 nights, made breakfast each morning and it was so simple because they have alot of the small items (oil, salt/pepper, seasonings, pots and pans). Very close to an HEB, maybe 4 or 5 minutes away if that. AC worked very well and the house stays nice and cool. The owners take great care of this place and they have labeled stuff around the house and have board games, beach toys, Kayaks and other stuff to keep you occupied. We are definitely staying here again! Oh, and the views when you are at the beach are awesome with the mountains/hills in the background. My family absolutely loved this place!
