Great location, cozy, well-loved home with history. Easy walking distance to the river, shops, and restaurants . So wonderful that the family kept much of the original 1948 home. Would definitely stay again.

Such a charming, well-appointed, cozy house. We enjoyed staying here. Will definitely book again. I think the back patio was my favorite spot.

Overall great experience, from the property location, commuication with the host, house layout and space, everything was comfortable and as advertised. We'd definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in this beautiful home twice now and love it. I can’t wait to come back. Communication with the Host is a breeze. Home is in a prime location, within walking distance of everything. See you next year!!

We stayed here for a girls' trip, and it was the perfect place! The location is excellent—so close to everything. I also highly recommend renting a golf cart from the rental place at the end of the street. It made getting around so much easier since parking in the area can be difficult.A couple of things would have been helpful to know before booking. There isn't a bathroom on the first floor—there's one shared hall bathroom on the second floor and another on the third floor attached to the loft bedroom.Our only real disappointment was the communication with the host. When we arrived, there was only about half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We reached out, but by the time we received a response, we had already gone out and purchased our own. Buying toilet paper wasn't the issue—it was the delayed response. I also sent a checkout question about 24 hours before leaving and never received a reply. If you think you may need assistance during your stay, just be aware that responses may take a while.On the positive side, each bedroom has its own air-conditioning unit, which was a great feature since everyone could set the temperature to their preference. The beds were also very comfortable.Overall, we had a great stay. Despite the communication issues, I would still recommend this property for its location, comfort, and amenities, and I would consider staying here again.

Location can’t be beat. Just blocks away from anything there is to see in Southport, yet the house offers seclusion among the trees. The home is historic with modern touches. A wonderful place to stay.

Had a wonderful weekend in Southport. The property was charming and close to everything. We walked to coffee, dinner, shops and sightseeing. Spent time on the patio on the afternoons relaxing. Extremely peaceful.

We had an amazing stay at the TreeHouse Cottage. We had a couple of concerns upon arriving, but the host was very responsive and resolved everything within a very timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!
