Lakefront Chalet with Beautiful Views and Easy Walk to the Village

Get ready to relax in this 2-bedroom chalet in Big Bear Lake. This lovely property features 1 queen bed and 1 dual twin bunk bed, perfect for a 5-person family vacation. With amenities like amazing lake view sunsets, a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and stackable washer/dryer, your stay will be nothing short of memorable. Book now and enjoy everything this chalet has to offer.

Located within several blocks to the center of The Village and just a five-minute drive to the Snow Summit Ski Lifts. Everything you will need is within close proximity once you arrive at our beautiful vacation rental. In the summer you can swim, boat, fish and sight-see from your own backyard. In the winter you can go skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing and enjoy the beautiful snow. This is lakefront at a fraction of the cost of renting lakefront.

Our beautiful lakefront chalet is one of three units on our property. There are two buildings on the lot. The 1st building facing the street has garages and a unit above. The rear building has two units. Our unit is the bottom floor of the rear building, which has no shared walls and a huge deck with unobstructed lake views.

The lot is over 9,000 square feet sitting ON the lake. The shared backyard is spacious and has plenty of room for activities while waiting for your next boat ride/water ski, your next big catch, snow play or simply watching the boats come and go just a few steps down from your own shared dock.

Just off the kitchen sits the deck, that includes views of tall pine trees and clear skies for stargazing or snowfall. Enjoy the sunset from the sit-down views, while melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Parking: Our unit offers off-street parking for 2 cars maximum, (one garage parking spot and one driveway parking spot.)

Fantastic location and amazing view! There are large sliding glass doors that look right out on the lake and the mountains beyond. This place is right on the lake with a dock and is a short walk to restaurants in the Village. We have stayed in Big Bear many times and this is one of the best locations. We were able to avoid the weekend traffic and parking struggles because we could walk to everything. There is a nice kitchen, comfortable beds, and a large couch. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin, awesome location, and easy access to the lake. The fireplace works wonders, and it was fun to go for a walk to the lake and have space to let our dog out during the day!

The place was clean and cozy lighting could have been better finally found the light on the microwave it's on the left so you can see to cook.. little rocky walking down to the dock on the wood planks but did catch a fish from the dock good location would definitely stay again

Kari was a great host. The check in process was smooth and the view was fantastic. To be able to walk to both the lake and the village was great. There were a few cob webs and stuff on the outside and inside, but hey, you're in the mountains people. Overall, 5 out of 5. Would recommend to people.

This place was phenomenal and was perfect for my little family. Super walkable to the village and a beautiful view of the lake. The host was very responsive and respectful! I would highly recommend this to place to anyone.

Awesome little lakefront location with a beautiful view. Family and dog had a nice, relaxing weekend, enjoyed dinners on the deck and sunsets over the lake out on the swing in the yard. My favorite was morning coffee at sunrise in the comfy rustic wooden chairs watching the mama ducks and their babies. It was a sunny, hotter than usual weekend, so we had brought a beach umbrella with us, and it came in handy for the afternoon sun and sitting out in the yard for the view. They had several fans there to use to help cool the place off and the host was very easy and quick to respond when communicating. We are looking forward to staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront chalet which truly had wonderful views of the lake, right on the water! The space layout was perfect for our group of three. It was clean, cutely decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Kari was proactive and responsive, as well.

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The lake views are simply stunning! It felt more like staying at a friend’s cozy mountain home than a rental, which allowed us to completely unwind." We even saw a couple bald eagles fly over while sitting on the dock. The home has a charming, 'classic' feel with older furniture, but it was very clean and provided every amenity we could ask for incision string wifi. Easy parking for 2 cars. Marina 2 minute walk away to rent a kayak or boat. Great location.

The location was awesome walking distance to the village and the bowling alley were perfect for the rainy days that we were there. The unit was spacious and had all of the amenities that we needed the coffee K cups were a nice touch. Much appreciated. Definitely will book here again

We had a very relaxing time with our dachshund. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Even a rice cooker. . We definitely plan on returning to enjoy the beautiful view and living accommodation.

The property was very nice with direct view of Big Bear Lake. An outdoor swing was enjoyed each day by my wife and I. Only one small glitch - sweet ants did get into one of our open dried fruit bags. I informed the owners. Big Bear Lake is a fun place to visit including in the summer being able to go up the ski life to the top of Snow Summit - a beautiful scenic lift to the top. We are over 80 years of age and the lift was free. Very nice.

You cannot beat the scenery -- out the door and on the water. I would say it was under-priced. The room was spacious, a clean glass sliding door to view the the lake from inside, fully equipped, and a garage to keep the car secure. A great pastrami / lasagna / pizza place down the street. Came home fully relaxed.
