About this space
Very private, Charming 1905 One Bedroom apartment in the Mingus park neighborhood. Within walking distance of the bay, 7 downtown restaurants, bars, antiquing, & coffee shops in Coos Bay. Comfy queen sized bed. Full Kitchen & Laundry. Wifi, TV with Netflix. Pets allowed with previous discussion and small cleaning fee. Pack n’ play available for babies or cot available for older children or for extra guest. The couch is SO COMFY, guests occasionally skip the bed. ( couch sheets available ! )
The space
Elegant 1905 home remodeled for comfort is welcoming guests. They don’t make them like this anymore. Walkable, quiet Mingus park neighborhood with great neighbors. One Bedroom with private pcourtyard access has a full kitchen & laundry. The courtyard on the south side of the building is available for smoking or vaping. . .

Fire 🔥 pit & wood available. The furnace room and workshop are off limits.

This has been one of my favorite spots to stay at! Ms. Ellie's was such a nice place to relax. It had everything a traveler could need, including a washer and dryer (I was in desperate need!). I would 100% stay here again.

This is a fantastic property! I felt like I was staying at the apartment of an artsy, creative friend while they were on vacation. It was stocked with everything I could possibly want or need, lots of special items that I could never have imagined! Ellie was a very attentive host. Highly recommended, I look forward to staying here again!

A cozy, comfy and quiet place to stay! Well provided fridge and cupboards full of yummy food and goodies, clean kitchen and bathroom, creative artwork on walls! I will definitely come back!

Excellent stay and exceptional host! Check in and out was super easy-this host and place has spoiled me rotten. Easy to find and great parking. It was well stocked with anything you could want to eat or drink. It has all the pots/pans and appliances you might need! The bed was comfy and the washer was a bonus. Ellie was very sweet and accommodating.

Super easy check-in and check-out. We loved all the artsy touches! The refrigerator and pantry were stocked with just about everything we could have possibly wanted. Shower was great and the bed was comfy.

Ms Ellie’s was a great place to stay in Coos Bay. The living space was a lot bigger than I expected with a living area, kitchenette bath, bedroom, private entry and rear patio area. Ellie was very welcoming when I arrived and checked on me if I needed anything. The welcome message on the fridge was a nice touch and there were so many interesting items, snacks, space to draw or create artwork and a sign in book made the stay very enjoyable. The location was convenient to walk to restaurants nearby and the Coos Bay Boardwalk. I would be happy to return next time I travel this way.

This basement apartment is well appointed and fun. It was on a quiet street with easy access to downtown Coos Bay and the harbor. Shores Acres (recommended by Ellie) was a complete surprise and very beautiful. Go down Bandon way for sandier beaches. Parking was easy and close. There was enough food to feed a family of four for several days. Many changes occurred before and during our trip and Ellie was always very responsive. We recommend Clausens Oysters just outside Coos Bay for their fresh farmed oysters. Show up early to get the best selection.

Great rental, clean and the location is good. Host was welcoming and very responsive. They had the apartment stocked with everything you could possibly need. Will be saving this rental to my favorites for future coast getaways.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This neighborhood is peaceful. There are no neighbors peering in your window. No one (but the outside camera) watching you come and go. It’s easy. There are no steps to get in. Coos Bay is a great place to stop on a trip from California to Portland or Seattle. There are multiple bars, restaurants, a grocery and coffeehouses within walking distance. Excellent nature sights nearby. Dune buggies, fishing, lakes, ocean, mountains & the bay in the largest city on the coast of Oregon. We’ve got it all.

This is a 1905 home that has been upgraded to make life convenient. It has been decorated with a certain vibe that my guests find comforting and relaxing.
