This beautiful Outer Banks waterfront condo is located in the Shallowbag Bay Club in beautiful Manteo. Our spacious condo is 1,390 sq. ft. and features 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths (king bedroom, queen bedroom, and a two twin bedroom). Tastefully decorated and newly renovated with Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring (new photos coming) quartz countertops, new appliances, lighting and more. The condo overlooks the gorgeous marina and pool in the front, and the bay in the back, with views of historic Manteo and Jockeys Ridge. All bedrooms have decks with water views. The front deck features furniture and a swing, to enjoy the water views, breeze, and sunrise. Boat access just outside your door, enjoy jet skiing, kayaking, parasailing, dolphin tours and charter fishing launches. Walk or bike to restaurants, shops, and Old Town Manteo - a charming waterfront community. The swimming pool and clubhouse with workout facility are waterfront for a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation. This location allows you to relax and stay out of the fray if you wish to, or within a few minutes, be in the middle of it all.

You can explore Roanoke Island with all of its attractions...historic downtown Manteo with its quaint boutiques and restaurants, playground, watersport and water tour launches (dolphin tours, children pirate ship tour, parasailing, paddle boarding, kayaking...), the Elizabethan Gardens, NC aquarium, Festival Park and museum, and be sure to see the Lost Colony theatre production. Within minutes, you can enjoy the Outer Banks beautiful beaches, Jeannette's pier, climb Jockey's Ridge, the Wright Brothers Memorial and Museum, and coastal drive to the Currituck, Bodie Island, and Hatteras lighthouses, or take a day trip to Ocracoke Island.

The condo is smoke and pet free.

There is a fish cleaning station in the complex behind Stripers restaurant. Do not use the condo countertops or outdoor tables for cutting fish.
Please leave all provided linens, towels and clothes hangers for the next guests to enjoy. If you take them home, our next renter will not have items.

Beautiful place. Close to everything

Beautiful property, clean, well-maintained and super easy to access. Part of a nice community. Elevator was nice and one-level home made it easily accessible. Porches and swings were very comfortable and nice for relaxing. Comfortable beds and fresh linens. Hope to visit here again.

We loved our Outer Banks vacation! The condo was perfect! Very spacious with nice furnishings. Decks off of all bedrooms, water views, a waterfront pool and hot tub, workout room, and a clubhouse with a pool table/ping pong table, and cornhole. Great location - dolphin tours and parasailing launch from here, walk to restaurants quaint shopping areas. Very nice!

Great place to stay!

We were very happy with the condo. It was clean and neat just as it was pictured on the website. It was nicely decorated as well. Had a great view of the canal and close to the fitness center. Parking was directly under the unit. I enjoyed having breakfast out on the porch. Lori was great to work with. She responded quickly to all my emails. She was very accommodating, even when we called her at the last minute to add an additional night to our stay. We would definitely book again if we stay in Manteo.

Spacious condo in convenient location. Good value.

My husband and I and two other couples stayed in this condo in the Shallowbag Bay Club just outside Manteo for four nights in late October. We were attending a wedding in Manteo and wanted a location that was closer than the many available condos and houses in Nags Head. One of our group was confined to a wheelchair, so we also needed a condo complex with an elevator and with at least one of the bedrooms and living room on the same floor. This condo fit the bill perfectly, the only problem being a very narrow shower in the Master Bedroom - but our friend managed anyway. The decor and appliances were a bit dated but the place was clean and comfortable. Don't expect an actual "waterfront view" - one has to be pretty tall to see the water from the balcony. However, we enjoyed walking to the docks at the rear of the condo complex where there was indeed a waterfront. A couple of negatives: There were only 5 sets of towels for the 6 of us - no doubt an oversight by the cleaning people. We were finally told how to unlock the owners chest in one of the closets where there was an extra towel set, but by that time, we had already bought a towel set in Manteo. The other problem was the that the wifi was not working and, when we texted the owner about it, we were told that we were just not using the correct network ID and password even though we knew that was not the case. Further texts were ignored. Finally - on our third day, we tried disconnecting and reconnecting the router, and that seemed to fix the problem. It would be helpful if future renters experiencing wifi problems could be told to try disconnecting & re-connecting the router. Other than those two issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Condo condition

The Handle on the refrigerator was about to fall off. HVAC return grill was filthy. Shower head in MB sprayed into the bathroom when you turned water on. Ice bin was full and frozen together. Bathroom Towels had old stains on a couple of them. Fry pan had grease in it. We washed everything before we used it. Unit was clean, neighbors were very nice and the location was good. We would stay here again but in another unit.

Great marina view, stylish condo

Check in and condo access was a breeze. Our first impression was that the place was much bigger and spacious than the online pics suggested. The property had just had new carpet, countertops and washer/dryer installed, and the decor was stylish and updated. The kitchen was very well-stocked. Large porches on both side of the unit, each with swing bench and café tables. The location is dockside and that area is beautiful. The only downside is that this end unit also has a McDonalds on the other side of the fence on that end of the building, so there was that view in that direction and it’s regular business noise - not bad, but it is there. Overall, our foursome of 50+ yr olds truly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back!

Great mini vacation

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Decorated so beautifully. My grandsons (2 & 5) loved every minute. Having a sliding glass door in every room was wonderful and the porch swings (there are 2, one on each side) were just what we needed to relax and unwind after a busy day! Close to the grocery store and restaurants too!

The best so far!

Of all the places we've booked for vacations, this one stands out as the best. Water views all around, the condo is spacious, the area is quiet, and it's close to beaches and other activities. Luckily linens and towels were provided, otherwise we wouldn't have had room in the trunk to bring our own. My son and his friend caught the fishing bug, fishing a stone's throw from the unit every night. My wife loved the unit as well! HIGHLY recommended!

Great beach getaway for smaller families

The condo was clean and had a great layout with each room having it's own balcony. Having a fitness center, a pool and restaurant onsite made our stay even easier. Getting to the beach was a quick 10 minute drive. We will be back next year!
