This was our second time staying here and had another amazing visit! The views are incredible, The condo is in the perfect location to the town of Manteo, the new restaurant downstairs is very good and so convenient to be able to just walk down stairs. I had a question for the owner and they are very quick to respond. Wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to go back next year!

Great Place to Stay!

Everything was as advertised, and we enjoyed being so close to Stripers. Nice fitness room and clubhouse. The view from the deck is fantastic!

Fantastic stay

What a beautiful place to vacation. The condo was so cool and comfortable all the time. We had a terrific time there; the restaurant was great. The owner has great tastes when it comes to decorating. Could not have had a better time, and thank you all for what you do.

great location/great views of harbor 20 minute walk (partially on road; mostly along scenic harbor boardwalk) to Manteo where there are shops, restaurants, galleries easy access by one flight of stairs or elevator close by comfortable beach condo

Great Week

We had a great time. We had mild weather with a great breeze on both porches. The owner was very responsive to questions. We are looking forward to our stay next summer.

Was a nice stay in Manteo on the bay. Unit is on the second floor (of 3) in same bldg as restaurant but didn’t notice any noise. Overlooks marina slips and the bay. Peaceful view. Parking tight at the bldg but available within a short walk. Pet friendly with bag stations everywhere. There is a pool at the clubhouse along with a pool table and exercise room but no hot tub. Unit was comfortable with enough space for 5 adults. Wish the bed in master was a king. Plenty of hot water and AC cooled well (master a little stuffy overnight without the overhead fan). If you wanted to cook there are pots hanging overhead but unit is lacking any serving type dishes - ie: salad bowl, mixing bowl, pizza flat baking tray, or casserole type dish if you need to bake or heat anything. Didn’t see any grills anywhere. 3 full bathrooms was really nice when everyone trying to get ready in the morning. Roku tv in the main room that we barely figured out how to use. A lot of sound/stereo equipment that we didn’t even try to turn on! TVs in all bedrooms too. Darrell’s restaurant was good for dinner. Also tried the Peruvian place that served a massive amount of food— believe it or not the best side of rice I think I have ever had- lol. Would book again if in the area.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay at the condo! The view was great, very peaceful in the morning. We sat out every morning and enjoyed the sunrise and watching the boats head out. While the master bath shower is currently not working, there’s a bathroom right outside the door so it wasn’t an issue. Will definitely stay here again if we’re in Manteu.

Amazing views!

We had a great stay. The condo is very spacious, comfortable beds, nice community pool area, quiet area, and the views from the balcony are gorgeous! We sat out there every morning with our coffee for sunrise and every evening for sunset. The owner responded right away with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great Condo!

Located on the Sound in the cute town of Manteo. Great views from all rooms and decks. Decorated fun and colorful. Plenty of space. Beds were comfortable and seating in living space worked nicely for our family. Host responded to questions very quickly. We would definitely stay again and we recommend it.

Condo

This condo is in a good location the only downside was have to drag the luggage up the stairs and parking stinks bc of the restaurant. The host was super responsive and very nice

Okay experience

Brightly decorated condo in a small quiet neighborhood, but definitely in need of some repairs, which some are scheduled already. Had great communication with the manager about the issues.

Mixed Experience

While there were a few positive aspects, we encountered several issues that impacted our overall stay. First and foremost, we want to emphasize the importance of thoroughly reading the property listing. Unfortunately, we failed to notice that the master shower and washer were out of order, despite this being mentioned in the listing. It's crucial to pay close attention to these details to avoid any inconvenience. Upon arrival, we noticed that the ice maker and water filter spout at the kitchen sink were also not working. Additionally, the lack of seating in the living area was disappointing, with only one couch and chair provided. This limited the comfort and convenience for our group. The condition of the carpets was a letdown, as they appeared dirty and stained. It diminished the overall cleanliness and appeal of the property. There was no soap provided in the showers, so we had to rely on our own supply. Even the hand soap in the bathrooms was nearly empty, requiring us to add water to retrieve the soap. The beds were exceptionally hard and firm, and the pillows were noticeably flat, resulting in a less than comfortable sleep experience. The TV remotes didn't work because the batteries were wet and corroded. There were light bulbs out over the master bath sink area too. Positives:The views were great, location and restaurant on propoerty! It seemed as though minimal effort was put into ensuring a welcoming and well-prepared environment for visitors.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a mixed experience with our property! I feel as though we have made the listing as clear as possible as far as the master shower and washer being temporarily out of order by not providing pictures of these amenities and including that they are temporarily out of order on the listing. As far as the "lack of seating in the living area," the couch and chair that are in the living room are the exact same couch and chair that are provided in the pictures, so I am unsure what was expected as far as seating space. The pictures provided showed the condition of the carpets as well. I feel as though the majority of issues that you experienced could have been resolved immediately had you reached out and communicated these concerns during your stay. For example, the issue with batteries was immediately resolved when you reached out. Also, the listing does not claim to provide shower products, but there was extra soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. in a basket in the master closet and can be used as needed as well as extra pillows/linens. This is a new listing and we are using all feedback to make the property a better experience for all in the future. Thank you for your review.
