Spend time at this charming cottage on Kincaid Lake, Ky. A short drive to the Ark Encounter, this welcoming retreat features 1-bedroom with a cozy queen bed, a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, WIFI for your favorite streaming services, and a private, paved driveway. Enjoy outdoor amenities including a canoe, two kayaks, firepit, and an outdoor patio bar with TV on the spacious, covered deck, or opt for the open side deck for your nightly star gazing. You can bring your own boat and dock it at the cottage or fish right off the dock. Just minutes away from Kincaid Lake State Park, you have access to a nine-hole golf course, hiking trails, putt-putt golf, basketball, playground, and more. A 27-mile drive to the Arc Encounter in Williamstown makes this a great location for your stay. Please note that this property is located on a lake and is hilly.

We enjoyed our time here greatly! So much so that we rearranged our plans to spend more time at the cabin! It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed!We did not have any trouble at all getting up the gravel driveway with our front wheel drive car. We will stay here again when we travel to visit family in Michigan!!

Really enjoyed our week at the cottage. The cottage was just as described, very clean and communication with our hosts was great. Spent a great deal of time on the porch, watching and listening to nature. Inside, enjoyed the recliners and the bed was extremely comfortable. I liked that the switches and drawers were labeled so there was no hunting for what we needed. The driveway is a little steep but we had no trouble without a 4 wheel drive. All in all, a great week!

The cabin was fantastic. Loved the porch and how quiet it was. Was not able to enjoy the dock, the grade coupled with mobility challenges kept my tackle in the truck. Parking was also a bit difficult with full size pickup. Very good location for our vacation plans.

The lake cottage was fantastic! Super clean and everything that we needed. We just forgot our fishing poles as the bass were jumping in the lake. It is a perfect place to get away and my wife and I loved it.

Beautiful lakeside cottage! The cottage was very clean and felt very well put together. Plenty of things to do inside and out. It was a nice surprise that there were some snacks and bottles water left for our stay. 10/10

Without a 4WD vehicle (with low range), getting up the gravel drive would have been a challenge. But we handled it just fine, a couple times...The cabin is immaculate, and well arranged. Nicely stocked with some snacks - thanks for the treat!It would be good if guests were forewarned that there is no breakfast restaurant in town, other than McDonald's...folks ought to bring in groceries when they first arrive.The fish were spawning in the stream. Fun to see such activity.

This was an amazing place!! I've stayed at a lot of places, but none were as clean or provided the extra amenities such as coffee (3 types of coffee machines) creamers, etc. They also provided fire wood for the fire pit. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the recliners and the couch. The owners were easy to reach and very friendly. The driveway was fine, I did appreciate them telling us that it was a little steep, but we didn't have any problems at all. The outside string lights were a plus as well! It was perfect! Book it!

Beautiful place to stay and comfortable. My ONLY issue was the drive way is very steep and gravel. Had to park top of the hill and walk down. Wasn't made aware of this until a few days before check in. This needs to be a part of property description. Going uphill each day to the car is tough. Otherwise, very nice and not far from the Ark.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the cottage by the lake. Everything was just as described and shown in the listing for the property, which we love. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained and had everything you'd need to make your stay more enjoyable. We wished we had booked a week stay, because 4 days was too short since we were going to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter and that took almost all of our days and would have liked to just stay at the cottage all day long for a few days. Don't hesitate to book this place, you won't regret it.P.s. the drive way is a little steep but we had no issues with our front wheel drive car. Just make sure you have it in low gear going up and down and you'll be fine.

The cabin was just great. It was quiet and peaceful. The actual cabin had everything you need. The lake is just down the way and there is a dock where you can go out on the lake if you want. I hope to be able to go back next year. Beautiful place!

This place was perfect for a long weekend getaway from Michigan to enjoy some warmer weather and time on the water. While the fishing didn’t quite cooperate during our stay, everything else about this property more than made up for it. The home was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and truly had everything you could possibly need, which made settling in effortless.The porch quickly became our favorite spot, whether it was starting the morning with coffee or winding down in the evening. It offered a great space to relax and take in the views and weather, which really added to the overall experience.The hosts were outstanding. Communication was prompt, clear, and professional from the start, and everything was so well organized that we never had to reach out during our stay. That said, it was obvious they take pride in their property and guest experience, and I had full confidence they would have been immediately available if needed.Overall, this was an A experience. You can tell the owners genuinely care about their guests and have put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable and memorable place to stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free getaway.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the property was. You walk in and it smells like a new house. The second thing I noticed was how cozy the home itself was. It felt like being home. The kayaks were absolutely awesome and the porch was great to sit at in the morning after making coffee at the fantastic all you need coffee bar and reading the Bible. I even had a hummingbird come visit me a couple times every morning. The yard at this cabin is huge and has a hammock that would be nice for reading or just relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed. The hosts answered my question fast and were always very kind. Just like they mentioned in the description, our GPS stopped up too early but we just kept going until we found it and the driveway is a bit steep but my Subaru Legacy did just fine. They do have a little place to park up top if you don’t want to go all the way down. We ate at We The Pizza in Falmouth and it was GREAT. This was my first time booking anything like this and I’m happy I did. Great price too. Tried to find something closer to home like this but this cabin seems to be pretty unique and the price was great. We will be coming back!

Enjoyed everything about my visit to the cabin and lake. The easy access to the water with variety of kayaks and canoes was awesome. And the ample outdoor space in the quiet and serene setting was exactly what I was looking for. The cabin itself provided everything needed when it was time to go inside.
