We loved the house even more in the summer! We loved the peaceful walks by the lake as well as swimming boating and relaxing evenings at the house. We would definitely stay again!

The only issue we had, we're problems getting tv to work. And needing to pay fee for each dog, even though they were allowed. Other than that, place was great.

This was our second time staying here (two families) and it was a wonderful stay again. The house is perfect and ideal location to skiing and winter activities! Great for kids and families!

This is the most amazing VT cabin with everything you need. The house and property is so beautiful and well stocked in a great location with amazing owners. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Beautiful and Well-Furnished House

Great house. Easy check-in process and any cooking implement you could need in the kitchen, which was very helpful when cooking for a group. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. It is comfy and charming and the setting is private but so close to town. One of the best spots we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Trip

Loved the house & how secluded & quiet the property is, loved that it was pet friendly! Very clean and had everything we needed. Close to Wilmington & other sites & hiking trails we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This is a quintessential New England cabin and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The cabin is extremely comfortable and spacious in a beautiful forest surrounding that is just steps from a very quiet, clear lake. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished with every amenity you could want. Perfect for a family getaway.

Ski Weekend

Excellent experience staying at Stoni Woods. Great house and amenities and a short drive to Mount Snow and Wilmington. Hosts were very communicative and even arranged for the driveway to be plowed during our stay. We’ll be back.

Great weekend at a beautiful home!

We visited VT for the weekend with our family. The home was perfect! Cozy, very clean and everything you need is supplied- kitchen, bath towels and bedding- we had a great time sledding in yard too! Beautiful home and property! Would visit again! Thank you Beth!

WOW!!! Amazing Stay!!!!

Could not have been better.....we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the country....exactly what we were looking for.....peaceful, spotless clean, private(but only but only a short drive to activity) & Beth was wonderful to work with....we will be back soon.

Lake house

Lovely, well-designed house in great still new condition just a short walk down a path to the lake. Super comfy beds. Host couldn't have been more helpful!

Lakeside Sanctuary

Don't pass up this ideal spot! The host was incredibly accommodating and attentive. From the moment we booked, they were responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. This VRBO is a gem. Its unique construction and woodworking, beautiful grounds, and thoughtful amenities made it feel so homey and special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing retreat by the lake.

Great Cabin

The cabin was adorable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to Mount Snow for us to ski. The yard was beautiful, and our pup loved it. We walked to the lake through the woods. The garage entrance was perfect for after skiing and to clean the dog after playing in the yard. It was also very clean.

loved every minute!

What an amazing house-- gorgeous design and detailing! Great location for our kids to go skiing at Mt Snow and great sledding hills in the back yard! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. Beth was super responsive to our questions and was on top of coordinating the plow to come by to help clear the driveway. We had a great stay and are excited to be back next year!

We just returned from our second stay at Stoni Woods, and couldn't be happier with our experience. The property and grounds are exceptional warm, inviting, with a definite Vermont summer vibe. The three bedrooms all have queen-size mattresses, so need to draw straws for who gets the double room. The kitchen and pantry are well-stocked with everything one would need to do meals at home with all the utensils one could ask for. The only thing we needed to bring was a coffee grinder! The dining room table sits 6 easily. Plenty of comfy chairs and couches for seating. Piano was a nice touch next year we'll bring sheet music! Peaceful and clear Lake Raponda is only minutes away, and our family and guests made the most of its proximity on the warmer days. We also were able to fit in a visit to Mass MOCA, only 45 minutes away, and Tanglewood, a 90-minute drive. Beth and John are responsive to any needs/concerns, answering texts promptly. Phone service is somewhat iffy in the area, and some of us were unable to phone or text while others were. Our grandson loved the stone fire pit, for which plenty of wood is provided. A magical two weeks we hope to return again!

Genuinely wonderful vacation home and property...

My family and I all agreed - if we could buy a vacation home in Vermont, we'd want it to be just like this! It's cozy and charming, yet thoughtfully designed to enable privacy for all. The kitchen has everything you could ask for (in spades), the bathrooms were spotless, and the host provided handy instructions throughout the home for everything from lighting the wood-burning stove to connecting your phone to the Bluetooth speakers. Great outdoor deck and yard, no visible neighbors (really feels like you're in the woods!) lovely walks near the property, and minutes away from town, grocery store, etc. Highly recommended!

Memorial Day Family Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at beautiful home. Clean plenty of room. Campfire at night grilling burgers on deck. My boys used canoe to go fishing. Short walk to Lake. My wife and I went Kayaking. Lake Raponda was awesome quiet and clear. Had dinner in town at the Anchor excellent. Went to flea market and shopping in town. Beth the owner was great with answering questions and checking in. We loved the experience. Also our dog Gracie loved the yard and trails for walks. Highly recommend.. SJ and Teri
