A perfect quiet retreat or to start your next Great Adventure. Kayak the lake, bird watch, fish, and then start a campfire at night under the stars! Nestled in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest there are many trails for hiking, biking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, waterfalls, and bird watching right outside your front door.

Downtown Munising is a 20-minute drive to local boating, fishing, waterfalls, lighthouses, shopping, restaurants, rock hounding and Pictured Rocks National Lake shore. Perfect getaway for couples, families, and friends. Also in close proximity to downtown Marquette and Grand Marias.

Cabin includes kitchen with utensils, 2-burner stove, toaster oven, microwave, regular coffee maker, and refrigerator. Fully furnished with electricity, running water and a full bathroom. Charcoal Grill, Table, and Kayaks included. Most cell phones work in the area, but great wifi. We are dog friendly. Dirt Roads to Cabin.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time at this lovely lakeside cabin!!! The place was cute, cozy, and a perfect quiet retreat away from our busy lives while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. We loved it so much that we shared the info with friends to stay in a wonderfully beautiful location. If you can get there in the fall to see the trees change, I highly recommend it.

Lovely place, very secluded (definitely take some meals in case you don't feel like driving a bit for food). We were a bit too tall for the couch but happens often. Amazing stargazing!

This little cabin was a great get away! We loved the private lake, use of kayaks, and the quiet nights. Check-in was super smooth and everything was clean and tidy. We would love to go back again!

Hillary is a fantastic host! There was a mix up with cleaning and the cabin was not cleaned from the previous guests when we arrived but she took care of that immediately and her cleaning lady was there within an hour or so! Communication was fast and efficient The property is beautiful and quiet, I would recommend this for a couple who is looking for a relaxing, chill time awayAlso one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on at a vacation rental! Bonus it was King size !

Awesome property and location. Great to just stay at the cabin and relax at. But also close enough to the towns to visit and pick up supplies or grab food.

Perfect setting for our honeymoon. We were able to enjoy some quiet time on the small lake including plenty of fishing and some kayaking. Perfect location for day trips to the Lake Superior coast.Plenty of great memories to take home w us.

This property was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. The cabin was well stocked and very well kept. The lake was just beautiful and it was very easy to drive to the places we wanted to explore. Could not have been happier with our stay.

The log cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The grounds were very private, on a small lake. No traffic, no noise for a week. We hated to leave.

We are a newlywed couple that loves the outdoors and all of the wonderful seasons the U.P has to offer. Our hearts are in this Munising area as we both grew up around here and enjoy it all year round. This cabin is our little dream come true and we are so excited for you to experience it! When we locked eyes on this cabin we made an offer on the spot, and 30 days later we were moving in! We love the peace and quiet of the lake and stay here ourselves to snowmobile, kayak different rivers, fish the lakes, explore pictured rocks, and just enjoy each other in a perfectly peaceful property.

This "cabin in the woods" will not disappoint. Weather you are here to see the sites of surrounding areas and come home to make a bonfire and relax by the lake, or to cuddle and watch Christmas Movies while watching the snowfall... it will give you the experience you are looking for.
