Close to town, this vacation home is nestled in the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest and situated on 100' of sandy beach frontage on Powell Lake, a spring fed lake.

Recreational trails (biking, hiking and snowmobile), excellent hunting and fishing are within 50' of the home or venture out and explore the hundreds of other lakes, streams and waterfalls that surround you.

Many have relished in the beautiful summers, viewed the breathtaking fall colors or enjoyed winter recreation in Munising, known as the midwest capital for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice fishing.

Very Serene

This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The view is spectacular!

Gorgeous house on a lake

Clean, beautiful home with a great view. Kayak and paddle boat to use. Such a great place to stay. The pictures don't do it justice, much nicer than it looks. Would definitely stay again

Lovely spot for our trip!

This was a perfect spot for our trip to the UP. We wanted to focus on the Pictured Rocks area, and this cottage was in the perfect location. The sunrises over the lake from the master bedroom were beautiful! The lake was a perfect size for our paddleboards and to use the kayak and pedal boat provided. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!

Great place

Plenty of room for our family. House was nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Location was very convenient for pictured rocks. Don't let the lack of AC scare you away from this gem. Shaded lot and cool UP temps it was very comfortable!

Great Time!

We had a great time at this property. Location was great for visiting picture rocks and many other attractions. Beds were super comfortable and house was well supplied with everything we needed. The kids loved the lake and use of the paddle boat, kayak, and lily pad. They could have just stayed and played at the property the whole time. Would recommend 👌

We can’t say enough about this place! It was exactly what we needed for our group! Everything was clean and so well stocked. Communication with the property owner was quick and easy. We had such a great experience, we will definitely be back again!

Wonderful Home, Great Views.

We very much enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The views were outstanding, really love the sunrise over the lake from the master bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in. The home was very convenient to Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Would highly recommend this home.

A week of heaven

This was a very nice place to stay. There were small issues like drawers missing knobs but overall good. Just a small note regarding safety-rails in bathrooms and both sides of stairway would help. Floor boards on front entryway were loose and and a real falling hazard. 20 years ago wouldn’t have mentioned this but now a fall could end a great trip.

Very nice house in bug heaven

First problem was the listing here is old and the contact is no longer valid. No way to get ahold of owners. The screens on the windows leave gaps between the window sills and some are torn. Not the biggest deal but leaving windows open allows tons of mosquitos to come in. I, without exaggeration, killed over 200 mosquitos by myself in 4 days. No AC which is usually fine in the UP but the 4 days I was there were in the high 80’s and the options were to leave windows open and let in bugs or close windows and boil while at the house. For the positives, it was a very nice house, the beds were nice, everything was pretty nice. Def worth the price minus the worst week in UP history for bugs and heat.

Logun's Landing Lakehouse

We loved our stay! The view of Lake Powell was the 🍒 on top of our trip to cruise the Pictured Rocks and explore the Lake Superior shoreline from Sault St Marie one day and Marqutte another day. We won the jackpot with the fall colors and the warm days. The house met our group of 7 ladies needs. Just a few suggestions...we had trouble finding the property once on Lake Powell Rd. The directions said the house is soft green but it looked gray to us. The main floor bedroom could use a bedside lamp and all of the bedrooms could use a mirror in addition to just bathroom mirrors The ice maker was off but after we turned it on it only made a little ice. We also would have appreciated TV instructions. Overall we would recommend this property to groups of friends or families wanting to stay in the Minising area.

GREAT GET AWAY FOR ANYONE

We enjoyed our stay at loguns landing. We had a group of eight seniors. We trail ride during the day and relax at the house in the evening. Plenty of room to relax and socialize. Lots of kitchen supplies for cooking needs, comfortable beds and beautiful views on the lake. Highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful for multiple families

This is a great property for multiple families and kids of all ages that want to come together for vacation. The owners were easy to talk to and respond quickly. Very clean house and well supplied kitchen. We would recommend this to friends.

The process leading up to the visit was terrible. At one point the listing was completely gone and we didn’t even know if our reservation existed and we really struggled to get answers

Picture perfect location!

Very nice and spacious home with amazing views of Powell Lake. The location is a secluded lake neighborhood about 25 min south of Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and strong WiFi. The water is pretty hard and tastes like iron so bring plenty of bottled water. Communication with the hosts was great…very responsive and helpful!

Beautiful getaway spot

The house is situated in a lovely spot on a small lake just 15 minutes south of Munising. The pictures online do not do the house justice; it is beautifully remodeled with amazing windows and light everywhere! We travel a lot and I have to say this was the cleanest accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. It felt like a new home! Check in and out couldn’t be simpler. A+++
