The property is located in Playa Langosta, a short mile from the town of Tamarindo, right across the street from the beach. In a quiet neighborhood, you can fully relax at the property or the surroundings. Easy walks around the block or on the beach at early hours or sunset times will make you enjoy the beautiful nature. The property is comfortable and welcoming for families and friends. Fully equipped with a full kitchen, a/c in every room, internet, cable TV, hot water and laundry amenities. There is room to park one vehicle at the property.

Everything about the house was excellent! We had a minor issue with the water, but the property manager responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly!

As advertised. There are public entrances to the beach across the street. Easy to spend part of the day at the private pool and then stroll across the street for a short walk to the beach. The market two blocks away was convenient. Appreciated this place was in a much quieter part of Tamarindo. We walked 10-15 minutes into the busier part of Tamarindo and used Uber to get back.

Thank you Ryan! This unit is located in Playa Langosta, surrounded by million-dollar homes, in a quiet part of town. Yet only a 3-minute drive to downtown Tamarindo and all of its amenities. Cool off in the private pool and enjoy a home cooked meal in the beautiful outdoor dining area with BBQ. Pura Vida!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We enjoyed our time here! The location is right next to our favorite beach access and close to town. The outdoor area with the pool was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked and overall everything was well maintained.

Beautiful stay in Playa Longasta

The weather was amazing, location amazing and pool was a welcome treat for the 38 degree temps. There were a few issues with ac and hot water but fixed immediately. Service was great :). Thanks again for the accommodations

The location in Playa Langosta, a small residential area of Tamarindo, right across the street from the beach, in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature, the property has everything to enjoy relaxing vacations. The villa is perfectly equipped for families and friends. With 3 BDR{s it sleeps 6 comfortably up to 8 with trundle beds in one guest bedroom. The private pool is great to enjoy at every hour!

A relaxing oasis

The house at Cerca del Mar in Tamarindo made a great base for our stay. The location allowed us easy access to a variety of beautiful beaches constantly changing with the tide. Our hosts were responsive to our needs and corrected some issues we had quickly and thoughtfully. The pool was the perfect temp and a welcome respite after a day in the sun.

House was awesome

Everything was great about this house. Just like advertised!! Great location with beach and sunset right across the street. Tom’s of restaurants within walking distance or golf cart ride. Pool was a perfect addition and AC units were working perfectly. Great communication with the management team as well. Would come back in a minute.

Relaxing trip

The neighborhood was wonderful - close to action but still quiet and felt very safe. German and Lola were amazing! Quick to respond and help us create a memorable trip filled with fun activities! The house was great! The pool was essential for a hot Cost Rican stay! We will be back! Pura Vida!

Great place to enjoy the ocean and sun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have now stayed in the same area of Playa Langosta for the last 4 years, two times at this location. It is idealy situated within 100 meters of the beach. If you do not care to go swimming in the ocean, the unit has its own private pool. Both the pool and house are cleaned every other day by staff from RPM services (great group of people to deal with). The unit sleeps 5 comfortably and the kitchen has all the perks. Great place for a family or group of friends to vacation.

Reviewer Comments: From the moment we stepped into the lovely courtyard and viewed the sparking pool, big new grill and exterior amenities, this villa gave great vibes. The well-appointed and beautifully decorated interior was clean and ready for guests. Many surprises awaited us including the outdoor showers and a cozy sunroom for reading. The privacy and layout of the villa was especially great. Even though there were neighboring guests, we hardly knew they were there. Only thing that needs an upgrade is the road from town!! Hard to handle that many times a day.

Wonderful stay in Playa Langosta

My friends and I were in Costa Rica for a wedding and this villa was perfect. The team was extremely communicative through WhatsApp and very helpful. There was a problem with the water tank that caused us some stress (we did not have water for about 24 hours), but the team was responsive and fixed the problem before it was too big of an issue. The 3rd bedroom also has bunk beds in it, which were not reflected in the photos but were shown in the video tour. With bunk beds, that becomes a pretty perfect room for children but not the best room for adults. Just something to keep in mind if you’re staying with friends and want to share the cost. The other two rooms are significantly nicer for 2 adults than the bunk room for 4 adults. Overall, we had an excellent time and the house worked well for our group.

Great spot

Overall, we loved this house. The listing photos are very accurate- except for one bedroom which has added a bunk bed since listing photos. It's kind of a townhouse complex, several properties right in a row, connected but separate. Directly across the street from beachfront properties, which means the beach really is a >5 min walk. Delightful. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. We rented a golf cart vs car, but would have preferred a car. The management service is very responsive and helpful. Highlight of our trip was the Volcano tour with the guide named "Duck". Far away, but worth it for a big day of Costa Rican adventure. Only drawback to the property was that we had a noise issue. We were there on family spring break trip. The people next to us were there on a college spring break trip... I'm sure you can see where this is going. The bedrooms have AC etc., but some of the other house windows are just screened, so noise can be a big issue if you get rowdy neighbors. Overall, great property with a great host, but noise was an issue.

Wonderful stay, great property and location

We loved our stay! The location of the property is great; just a short walk across the street to the public beach access. The interior was true to the photos, in good condition, and there was plenty of room for our group of 7. There were two bedrooms with queen beds (seemed like a large queen), and the third with a full/queen and two bunk beds. There was a single bed with trundle underneath in the living room too. The pool was wonderful and large enough for our whole group to use at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and had an outdoor grill. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and quaint; loved the Playa Langosta area nestled off the hustle and bustle of main Tamarindo streets. If you're interested in accessing the main Tamarindo strip during your stay, would highly recommend renting a golf cart as it is definitely not walking distance. However, if you just want access to a beach and a few restaurants and a small mini supermarket, there are those things within walking distance of the unit. If I had friends going to Tamarindo, I would definitely recommend this property to them.We did have an issue with not having hot water in the showers. To Management's credit they did send someone over promptly to troubleshoot it when we called. The maintenance man said it was fixed but it wasn't. We didn't call back, just lived with it and took coldish showers; it was hot out after all, but it would be nice for this to be fixed.

Langosta is a quiet residential part of Tamarindo, fantastic to enjoy walks around the block or on the beach. You will enjoy every sunset. Take a chair to the beach and enjoy, your feet in the sand with a drink. Priceless! The nit is welcoming and warmly decorated. It comes fully equipped for 6 people up to 8. You will enjoy the private pool. Free parking in front of the property.

Great layout and location! Needs some TLC.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great overall experience. The property is perfectly situated just far enough to be away from town but not too far to walk. And the beach is right across the street. Perfect for catching every sunset and enjoying the river merging with the Pacific.This was our second stay in #8. The property is clean and has all you need. Unfortunately the fountain at pool was not working and the place is showing some wear and tear with loose plumbing fixtures and the louvers on the door to pump room were actually broken by a staffer during our stay last year and were still not fixed a year later. Easy to look past in paradise but noticeable and does drop the quality of experience down a notch.No one came to clean the house or pool during our 8 day stay. This was fine but promised in the literature. The office was prompt and responsive. Lola was super in helping us book 3 amazing excursions - Sailing Serendipity, ATVs, and Palo Verde Cultural tour. Captain Luis and First Mate Bismark were awesome on Serendipity and Duck ( and Rooster (Carlos) were amazing tour guides at Palo Verde. The experience, food and sites were amazing on both of these trips! The ATV ride was fun too. I’d recommend all three! The ATV write-up offered less than advertised. No snorkeling and no return to fruit.

Beautiful property

We stayed in Playa Langosta for 10 days and had an amazing time. The villa was perfect for 2 adults and 4 teens. With a private pool, across street from beach and in walking distance to stores and restaurants, we were set. Josef, the property manager, was so helpful. We will be back!

Sistemas de control de gas en toda la casa, piscina iluminada, camas muy super confortables, baños increíbles y el piso de la casa , tal vez son de las cosas que más disfruté.
