ENJOY SUMMER IN THE ADIRONDACKS AT RUBY HILL CABINS

Newly constructed log sided cabin with all new appliances and furnishings. Private dock on Lake Algonquin and a three minute walk to the Town Beach .( we‘ll even provide a wagon to transport the kids and toys down to the beach). One mile from the boat launch.

One bathroom with tub and shower and washer/dryer. Fully furnished modern kitchen with stainless electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. Living room with 32' flat screen TV with built in DVD player, Dish Network, WiFi and furnished with unique Adirondack style furniture.

A full size screened in porch is perfect for reading, relaxing (or maybe napping) in the afternoon or a peaceful dinner in the evening. The kids will probably want to sleep out there so don't forget the air mattress and sleeping bags.

Take a short walk to Torts Ice Cream Shop or the Community Hall for tennis, pickle ball, basketball or the playground. Enjoy dinner at the Alpine Restaurant just a few miles south of town.

We are located about a 1 hour scenic drive to Lake George and The Great Escape Theme Park and the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake so you can take a day trip and still return to the peace and quiet of your cabin in the woods.

We provide an ideal cabin for the family that wants to experience an Adirondack vacation in the woods with the convenience of nearby lake access, hiking, boating or just exploring. An experience that will keep you coming back year after year.

Cabin was perfect

We found this perfect cabin for a winter trip to Gore Mountain. found this cute, clean and conveniently located on our way to Gore Mountain for a fun wintery weekend getaway. Cleanest Cabin I have been in!

I’d call it Awsome

This cabin is wonderful in every way. I will definitely return. We stayed in February for a winter snowmobile and snowshoe hiking vacation. I’m coming back for a summer vacation too. The lake is right across the street! The proprietor is a friendly gentleman and provides a great experience.

Wonderful Wells Getaway

Highly recommend this cabin. The cleanliness and decor were beyond expectation and location was fabulous. There is a second rental cabin which is visible about 80 yards away but this did not hamper our stay. Hosts were good to work worth but also gave us our privacy. We were also happy to have access to the canoes and kayaks as well as the bonfire pits. Would stay again.

Perfect cabin in a beautiful setting

The cabin was clean and cozy. I loved the screened in front porch with the view of the mountains. Everyone loved the kayaks and the closeness to the beach. And the hosts were great, making our check in and out so simple. We had a perfect vacation.

Anniversary

We went there for our anniversary. It was very peaceful. Cabin was beautiful and clean. The area is nice and quiet. Hosts are very pleasant. I only wish I could see more of the lake. We do intend on staying there again.

Relaxing get away.

Nice and clean cabin. Owners were great! There is two cabins and they are kind of close but the people staying next to us were quiet and respectful. Easy walk to the lake. The steps are steep to get to the kayaks but doable. We would definitely do it again.

Fabulous getaway!

We really enjoyed this peaceful gem in the woods, and we are looking forward to booking another stay in the future. Everything was wonderful...the stocked kitchen, the lovely front screened-in porch, the firepit surrounded by the beautiful woods, the kayaks we had access to, along with the public sandy beach. Cabin trip

It was a great stay! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves at this cabin. It was exactly how it is listed online. It was awesome that they had kayaks and a canoe available to us. Very appreciated. This is an awesome place to fish. In the lake and also in the river. It was very relaxing and such a beautiful cabin to stay in. Will definitely be back.

3 years running!

Love and look forward to our stay at Ruby Hill Cabins every year. Love the proximity to fishing for my nephew. The availability of kayaks and canoes. Only 2 cabins there and you feel very snug and secluded in the woods even though you are so close to everything. Gerry & Susan are very responsive to messages and needs while you are there. We will be back next year!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time. The property was very clean and the location was lovely. Wells is a very nice little tow and the lake is beautiful. The owner Gerry was fantastic and our family had a marvelous time.

First family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Ruby Hills Cabin. Our toddler loved the proximity to the town beach. Everything was easy and convenient for us. Gerry and Susan are wonderful hosts.

A great getaway

This cabin is perfect for a laid back getaway. Great hiking, swimming, and fishing. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The property is good for grilling, cornhole and relaxing by the fire pit. It was our second stay at this cabin. It was perfect both times.

Overall - a wonderful stay! The cabin was darling and well equipped.

The only thing we found less than desirable was the mattress in the downstairs - very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the property and setting were just perfect!

Relaxing & refreshing

All was like advertized: quite luxurious cozy cabin in the woods for an attractive rate. Elaborated details in interior design, well equipped kitchen and restroom, screened porch. Very nice and helpful owners, felt very welcome. Perfectly located in Wells NY, great for hiking. Will come back one day, can only recommend it.

Beautiful Location!

We had a lovely stay at Ruby Hill Cabins. Gerry and Susan were responsive and had helpful advice about the area. The cabin itself was very cute and perfect for our family (with two children). We loved that the rental included use of a canoe and kayaks and a wonderful fire pit with Adirondack chairs (naturally) . The location was perfect: walking distance from the beach, close to the dock. There were also quite a few nice hiking trails within a short driving distance. We would absolutely recommend this rental and hope to return.

Lovely Cabin

The cabin was absolutely lovely! It was clean, cozy, and quiet. The second cabin was a little closer than we thought it would be, but the other renters were quiet and kept to themselves. We were looking for a peaceful getaway; and that's what we got! We couldn't connect to the Wifi for some reason, no matter how much troubleshooting we tried, but not a deal breaker. It was nice to literally and figuratively disconnect. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin & location

We felt really comfortable in this beautiful cabin. The owners were very sweet and welcoming. We enjoyed the town beach & spent lots of time at the dock with the kayaks and canoe. The view is gorgeous and the water is warm! We loved grilling and having fires every night. Just a heads up- there is a second cabin ~30 ft away from this one that you share the kayaks/dock with. It wasn’t quite as peaceful one night as the children were a bit loud. Nonetheless we still give this a 5 star stay & hope to be back soon!

Great getaway for two

The cabin was immaculate. We were able to go to Lake George and Saratoga, it was a drive but very beautiful and scenic. We spent our evenings on the screened in porch playing cards and relaxing. Just make sure you bring all your food. There’s a small local mercantile that has essentials and take out (they make the best hero sandwiches) but make sure you have what you need or you’ll be traveling . The host was kind enough to let us know so we were prepared. A wonderful quiet place if you are looking to unwind and relax!
