Welcome to Firefly Retreat! Our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is ready to accommodate your next family vacation or gathering with friends. Amenities include fire pit w/ plenty seating, spacious hot tub, 5 burner grill w/ huge table for outdoor dining on back deck, plus arcades, ping-pong, billiards, foosball, air hockey and more in game room. The kitchen is complete with pots, pans, plates, coffee maker, spice rack, and everything else you could possibly need. The house can comfortably sleep 12 guests with 3 king size beds, a “kids room” with 3 twins and a pull-out trundle, and a game room that converts two futons into full beds. Linens and towels are provided at no additional cost. Firefly is located at the end of Lanier Lane, a beautiful street just past guard house when entering resort. The property is situated just off the cul-de-sac and another quiet street making it ideal for those that enjoy biking, running, kids scooters, etc.

Great place for several families together! Three king rooms and a kids room were convenient. The game room area was a plus. Also stocked for baby, which was appreciated!

This property is a perfect rental for those looking to explore the nearby Shenandoah National park while also having plenty of things to be able to do at the house on rainy days ranging from the ping pong/pool table to the hot tub.

House is well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Game room in the garage was a hit with everyone. The arcade games in the kids room were fun. Appreciated the extra toliet paper and soap in all bathrooms.

Our family had a great stay at the Fire Fly Retreat. The house was very clean, well appointed and stocked, and attractively decorated. The master bedroom suite in particular was awesome. Host communication was great- they were very helpful with the one minor problem we encountered. We brought four children and they all were well accommodated and had a great time. They found plenty do inside in the garage-turned-gameroom as well as outside around the fire pit. The location on the resort property is great too. There's plenty to do at the resort, 15 minutes away in the National Park, and all around Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah Valley. Highly recommended.

This house had plenty of space for everyone in our party of 10 and I don't think I heard a kid say I'm bored the entire time because of the amenities. Close to resorts activities but so much so do at the house as well. This house has a million small touches for travelers and the owners thought to provide almost anything you could need.

The house was very clean and incredibly kid-friendly. It had everything we needed, plus toys for the kids, which made the stay even better. We had such a great experience and truly enjoyed our time there.

We were very impressed with the house. It was extremely roomy, and the master bedroom was amazing. The location was perfect for both resort golf courses as well as a nearby neighboring course. We will definitely consider making this an annual trip in the future.

Loved the house, just as nice as in the pictures! The host was great with communication, and the location is really good for doing activities at Massanutten and the surrounding area.

Best stay ever!!! Every amenity we needed was here for a great family weekend!! We enjoyed the fresh mountain air, cooking amazing meals in the kitchen, the hot tub, firepit and the games in the house were a ton of fun we all enjoyed!! Look forward to visiting again soon!! Bentley is the best!!

The house was clean, Just an F.Y.I .the one room list 4 beds it only has 3. There was not enough wash clothes and towels for the amount of guest we listed. Glad we brought our own, and there was no pillow cases for the extra pillows, These are not complaints just things that we notice, we had an issues with the air. But the host was right on it. THANK YOU ! The grill is propane and the fire pit they where all empty. The grill could use a good cleaning, and the jets in the hot tube didn't work. The house has alot of stairs .This is a beautiful house with plenty of room and things to do.i would rent this house again. And there was an extra refrigerator in the garage which was well appreciated.

Our family stayed with 5 kids ages 6-15. When we arrived the house was clean and everything was as described in the listing. The layout of the house was perfect for us. My kids loved the game room and outside space. My husband was able to utilize the office space to get little work done. Would love to return.

Such an amazing house with a plethora of games, comfortable and quiet bedrooms, and large spacious areas to relax. A perfect layout for a getaway. The kitchen was also well equipped.

Benedict is a great host and easy to communicate with. The house is clean, spacious, beautiful and highly family friendly. So many games to keep kids occupy. our stay was wonderful. Neighborhood is very quiet. Will recommend this rental when planning for a family getaway. Our stay was awesome.

The house was spacious with an upstairs game room and a nicely furnished garage with a ping pong table, air hockey, darts, and much more. TVs in every room except the kids’ room. An extra refrigerator in the garage was appreciated with our large family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the home was nicely decorated. Our children and grandchildren loved the space.

The house was beautiful. Everything was there in the kitchen. The only thing I didn't like was the communication with the community pool; we missed out on that, so I feel like that should’ve been included in the house details. But everything else was wonderful. The game room and the games were nice. I wish the mattress were a little softer, but everything else was excellent. We enjoyed the house

We had such a wonderful time at this property! It was so comfortable, well kept and larger than it looked in the pictures! We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well stocked the house was. Aside from typical supplies which were plentiful, there were little extras that were unexpected but so helpful, like first aid kits, batteries etc. anything we could think of to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you Sebastian for always being so helpful and responsive with any need that came up. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this area!

Benedict & Lindsey were phenomenal hosts! They were extremely communicative, and provided clear instructions for check in/out, and how to enjoy everything around the home! The house itself was absolutely stunning, and meticulously maintained. They provided bedding, towels, and everything you could need in the kitchen! This was our first vacation with all three of our young daughters (and we were lucky enough to have my sister and her young kids join us too!). I was nervous at first because my 4 year old is on the spectrum & non-verbal, and one of her comfort items at home is her firestick remote and being able to watch her videos in her own space- so when she saw that Ben & Lindsey had them in every room in the house, she was completely over the moon and made herself at home! All of the board games & fun interactive sensory toys were a massive bonus that all of them appreciated greatly too! The hot tub was heaven (and very clean), the garage that was converted into a game room was incredible…. There was something for EVERYONE to enjoy in this home! At the end of it, no one wanted to leave and we had already decided we will be coming back here in the near future! 10/10, highly recommend staying here!

Great house for a big group — a few things to know before you arriveWe stayed at Firefly Retreat with a group of eight and had a really enjoyable trip. The house itself is fantastic — four bedrooms plus a bonus sleeping area upstairs could comfortably fit 11 people, and the layout gave everyone space without feeling cramped. The decor and "firefly" theme throughout were charming, and the entertainment options kept everyone busy: board games, card games, video games, an outdoor hot tub, a private backyard, and a garage game room with a pool table, foosball, darts, and a fridge. Plenty of TVs throughout. The host was responsive and communicative via the VRBO app.A few things that would help future guests: There's no welcome binder on-site, and we really missed having one. The host shared a lot of great info through the app, but when you're traveling with a group, not everyone has access to those messages. A printed resource covering check-in/check-out, house info, nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and local activities would go a long way.Also worth knowing — there's no recycling pickup at the property. The host let us know there's a transfer station about 10 minutes away, but it would be helpful to know upfront that everything goes in the same bins.One thing we didn't quite expect: despite being at Massanutten, the neighborhood sits down the hill from the ski mountain and you don't get much of that mountain feel from the house itself. Not a dealbreaker, but worth setting
