Trails, Tails & Town – Pet-Friendly Stay Near It All

Spacious, pet-friendly unit just minutes on foot from Helena’s amazing trail system AND the historic walking mall (breweries, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and more)! See our guest book for our local recommendations on popular hikes, restaurants and drinks.

A private entrance and driveway make for easy access and lots of privacy. The bedroom has one queen bed and the living area has a sleeper couch.

The space
We live in the separate upstairs space. We are a young couple who spend most of our time outside hiking, fishing or skiing around Helena. We have a 3.5 year old pup named Arlo and a tuxedo cat named Milli.

Guest access
Guests will stay in the separate basement unit. There is no yard access but trails are minutes from the front door on foot!

Other things to note
This is an older home with no real noise reduction and occasionally you may hear us or our pets upstairs. We always do our best to keep noise levels at a minimum.

Pets are always welcome, so bring your furry friend along for the fun!

Excellent location and large, comfortable, sparkling clean space to stay in Helena with your pup (or not). They had everything I could have needed and more. Will definitely stay again whenever I’m in town. A real find!

Fun and funky- perfect for our getaway with our dog- walking distance to two breweries and the trails were amazing! Mason and Corie couldn’t be more gracious hosts- it was like being with family! The place is clean, comfy and had fun eclectic decor. We’ll be back!

Nice lower level apartment. It is near downtown and trails which was fun. The pet friendly aspect was great and we were able to bring our dog. The place had all the basic necessities and then some. Like the listing says, the owners occupy the upstairs, and you can hear them walking around and whatnot, but it wasn't terrible. The bed was firm but pretty comfortable. The kitchen had a good selection of dishes, coffee and lots of tea were available, and the bathroom was small but nice enough. They give you off-street parking which is directly in front of the private entrance, so overall, it was a great value!

Ours hosts were so welcoming and accepting of us and our dogs! ❤️🐶 The location was so convenient to everything we needed to do and for walking the dogs. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future!

My mom stayed here and the house was perfect for our weekend plans. Check in and out was extremely easy and the host was very accommodating. Definitely on our list for another trip to Helena.

This was a perfect place for our family and dog to use as a home base! It was very well set up with plenty of space to sit and also stretch out. Having the private entry with key pad was great, as well as being able to pull into our own parking space right outside the door, which made loading and unloading the truck so much easier with all of our gear. We were able to meet the owners over the time we were there, and not only were they super nice, but communicated quickly when we had a question via text, and were wonderful to work with! We would definitely book this place again if we come back to Helena!

It was nice inside . Even though we didn’t use the kitchen it appeared that is was stocked with the essentials. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a claw foot tub but does have a shower curtain that wraps around it . The living couch was comfortable and we watched a little TV . We were able to park in the driveway that is right outside our door .
