We loved our stay. Place was clean and unique. Host provided all the details in timely manner and was really helpful. Lake was beautiful but unfortunately we could not enjoy it.

The sweet retreat is great for our family. We have stayed a few times before, and it is clean, comfortable, and convenient to get to Dodge Ridge.

Very much enjoyed the location and proximity to Pinecrest and Twain Harte, the tall windows, fireplace and view. Kitchen was nice and bed very comfortable. The place was very quiet and relaxing. Spiral staircase took some getting used to. We had a fun trip.

Lovely Stay at Sweet Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay at this lovely cabin on a beautiful property. The home is well appointed and well cared for with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Great mountain home

This place was perfect for getting to good hikes but also close enough to get to good restaurants for dinner. It is super accessible and had the best breakfast place, The Sugar Shack, right down the road.

Cozy Cabin, fantastic host, great location

Cabin was cozy and clean, very comfortable for the 3 of us. Host was hospitable and friendly. Convenient location for our trip to Dodge Ridge. Would highly recommend.

Amazing experience

Loved our time at this sweet retreat. Owner was responsive and helpful and the cabin and surroundings were gorgeous. Would definitely rent again

Loved our time here. Great place and very relaxing.

Warm and inviting place. Had everything we needed even a complimentary bottle of custom wine. We loved that it had modern Tv's in all rooms with apps to use to watch netflix, amazon etc. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous lake retreat find and darling Hosts

What a darling place and well stocked. Bonus, the lake was super close, private, clean and naturally maintained. Hosts were extremely available and hospitable and even the neighbors were darling.

Fantastic

We can't recommend Sweet Retreat enough, the home, the location, the town and Gina & Keith are all way beyond the pictures and expectations. There's nothing more we could say, other than just go and stay there, see for yourself....

Watch your step!

Property is as described and access to the lake was a big plus. Really enjoyed our stay. Not a complaint, just be aware the backyard is a bit steep and there are a lot of steps to reach the house from the parking area, so individuals with mobility issues should consider that.

Beautiful Cabin Stay

Dear Gina & Keith, Thank you for the lovely stay at the Sweet Retreat our family loved our time there. You've thought of every detail and amenity for a perfect visit. Kitchen is stocked for cooking and serving; rooms are comfy and so pretty; TV's video games and board games were great. Super easy to find and the instructions we're easy to follow. Setting is lovely and so close to skiing Dodge Ridge! Can't wait for a return visit soon.

Perfectly Sweet Retreat

Spent two nights for ski vacation to Dodge Ridge. Good location. Took the ski bus from Alicia’s Sugar Shack. Good amenities and a cozy place to stay. The host is very responsive and flexible. Just ask! 😀
