Lovely spot in the woods. Enjoyed the large deck and star gazing. Our host accommodated our request for fragrance free cleaning.

Beautiful, peaceful, spic ‘n span, we loved this place! And Bailey’s Harbor has only improved with time, unlike a few other DC locations that feel much more touristy than years past. This place is a gem!Tricky to find using Google Maps but Shawn provided excellent maps, and a quick response when we were bewildered. And he is actually working on Google providing better location services. Great host! One of our best vacation stays ever!

Nice, clean, unique house. We enjoyed our stay very much. We couldn’t get the tv working but that’s ok, in door county we should spend more time outside and with each other.

Beautiful property, peaceful, and calm. My husband and I had a great time with our dog as well.As this is newer construction, our only issue was finding the property. The road was not clearly marked, and it took us a minute to find the house.We would certainly recommend this property and choose to stay here again if we come back to Bailey’s Harbor

Overall, this new property is quite nice. We were traveling with our dog so it was a perfect fit in terms of size. We really enjoyed time on the large deck. The main issue during our stay has to do with the lack of A/C. It was extremely warm inside the house during our July stay and made it difficult to sleep at night.

Fantastic stay - beautiful property in the woods with lots of privacy and shade. Super close to Bailey’s Harbor and not far from all the other beach towns either. My only feedback would be that the house having no AC ended up being fine due to our mild weather, but if it were 90 it would have been rough. I think a window AC unit or two would be a reasonable upgrade at this price point.

Brand new place. Was very clean. Located in the woods, very quiet and peaceful. Bed was comfortable and bathrooms well stocked with towels and toiletries. Would book again!

My wife, my dog and I all enjoyed our peaceful stay in the woods. Beautiful setting and a brand new construction. Everyone was clean and cozy.

Beautiful private wooded lot, the dry firewood stacked in the house to start the fire in the amazing stove, quick response to questions, easy access. Host also provided a beautiful snowfall for our stay making it so relaxing!

This house is a gem tucked away in a wooded setting. It was clean, comfortable, charming and stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting by the cozy fireplace and watching the snow fall. We were close to Baileys harbor amenities with easy access to all that Door County has to offer.

Nice open living space w big kitchen island for meal prep/seating. Well equipped kitchen w decent cookware (not always a given!) Good sized bedrooms and nice (tho small) single bath w shower. Beautiful large deck w table seating and BBQ overlooking quiet wooded area. Very private location but good proximity to town, close enough to walk. If you are a “dark room sleeper”, bring sleeping masks as there are no window treatments. And this time of year, that means very bright bedroom at 5am!We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shawn was a dream host, VERY responsive

The house is located in a beautiful quiet wooded area - I’m sure will be beautiful in the fall! It was very clean, open and spacious and close to the cute little town. The only drawback was that it did get a little warm and humid as there is no air conditioning or ceiling fans but host did provide fans for each room so sleeping wasn’t a problem. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Before you book keep in mind that this home does not include AC. The house is built on stilts meaning that the ground floor is basically on the second, it is elevated. With that being said, the heat and humidity in the summer rises to that “ground floor” creating a very humid, hot, and uncomfortable living space. This honestly ruined our whole vacation. Coming back home from the beach, all you want is some nice cool air, with this home it is not possible.
