We had a wonderful stay! The hosts Phil and Lori were so kind and made sure the stay was so relaxing. The property was beautiful, the house was perfect for our large crew, and the kids and adults alike enjoyed being outside near the water all day and fires in the evening! We would definitely stay again!

This was our second year staying at this amazing house. We had my 85 year old parents with us and the first floor bedroom worked great. Close to town but feels like you are in your own little world. The house is very clean and the hosts are very welcoming. We hope to return again next year.

The cleanliness of the rental was what really made me take notice when first arriving. The family also enjoyed the fire pit right next to the canal. The setting of the property is very quiet and peaceful. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay immensely and certainly would entertain staying here again if up that way again. Plenty of room for sure on such a large open area that provides an extreme sense of privacy. Comfortable seating around a large table to enjoy big meals or to accommodate playing games together for 8 to 10 people. Plenty of things to explore in the surrounding area and it’s impossible to ignore the surrounding scenery. No complaints from our family.

This was our 6th year and we will be back. The house is big enough for our 3 families for a full week. The owners are amazing. Very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to our stay every year.

Such a great place to stay. After a busy day exploring Houghton and the surrounding areas, we enjoyed relaxing on the deck, drinking wine appetizers or sitting down at the dock enjoying the sunsets and quiet.

It was an awesome place to stay. Our boys and their families enjoyed everything about the week there. Boating, fishing, shopping and riding the trails was just awesome. The host was great to work with and would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

We had a group of 6 for snowmobiling in the area, house was perfect for our needs, plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers.
