Great location - bus stops right across the street to take you into town. House was well equipped and Paul was a communicative host! Thank you so much. Our family had a wonderful weekend.

Paul’s place is a great place to stay! It has a nice living room and a very well appointed kitchen, several nice outdoor spaces including a rooftop deck with fabulous views, and it’s quiet from street noise. Do note that there are a lot of steps: The living room/kitchen is on floor 2, the bedrooms on floors 3 and 4, and the rooftop one above that! If you don’t mind a few steps, I highly recommend this home.

Everything was as described and went well. Paul communicated very well and reiterated the fact that there are lots of stairs. Four of us stayed there and we were all comfortable. It was a perfect place to stay for our event.

This spot was amazing! Honestly, we loved all of the outdoor space, the roof deck was our fave spot other than living room and kitchen. We hung out in all three every day and evening. We had three couples in our group and everyone had a room and a full bathroom to get ready in. Kitchen fit everyone easily as did the living room. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. The host was super responsive, very caring, and just overall great to work with. Thanks again Paul!

Great kitchen, 2 wonderful bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, comfortable living room. Additional sleep space on 4th floor, with additional bath/laundry/exercise on first floor. 48 stairs from ground floor to 4th floor...

We had a great time during our visit to Chicago and a lot of that was thanks to where we stayed! Paul was a great host and really made our experience seamless and enjoyable. We had a larger group in our party (4 adults, and 4 kids) but everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and there was plenty of space to spread out over the 4 different floors of the property. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast each morning and felt like we had everything we needed to prepare our meals for the day. From pots and pans to coffee and seasonings, our host ensured we were taken care of. We also found that the neighborhood felt safe and was in a convenient location to easily access several of the main attractions that Chicago has to offer such as Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, etc. with just a short drive. Parking at the property was a little confusing at first but once we realized it was on a one way street and took the time to actually read Paul's instructions (always start with the instructions :-)) we found it simple to get in/out each day without any added expense, which is a big plus in Chicago! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some time in the city with the comforts of home.
