Residence on the Avenue. A Spacious 1700 sq.ft. condo in a stunning blonde brick/limestone 1928 building on a tree lined avenue. We are a fully licensed vacation rental #2087704 and 1 of only 73 licensed vacation condos in Chicago! We are celebrating our 21st year of hosting and our 15th year hosting our Chicago condos. Master suite with whirlpool tub and separate shower. A very quiet and secure 4 unit building with front lobby entrance.
The entrance boxwood garden which is enclosed by beautiful wrought iron fencing is a hint of what awaits you inside the exquisite vintage building. There is also a fenced rear garden which can be enjoyed from your back porch. We also have a 2/bed 2/bath listed on VRBO Free inter net & long distance phone.

The interior of the unit is grand & open. The living room, dining area & kitchen over look the tree tops through the seven large windows. The finishing touch in the entertainment area is the Italian marble fireplace.

On the Evanston Border, only 1 mile from the quaint downtown home to shops, restaurants and of course Northwestern University. Loyola University and Park on Lake Michigan are only 1 mile away, a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.
Just 6 blocks to the Union Pacific train that takes you to the heart of the city in 15 minutes. Ravinia Park which is an amazing out door concert venue is reachable by the same train in 20 minutes.

Walking distance to the Red Line as well as bus service so you can reach the city center with in 20 minute. This is truly a great place to call home while exploring all the wonderful things that Chicago and the wonderful North Shore communities of Evanston, Wilmette and Kennelworth have to offer. Wrigley Field home to the World Series Championship Cubs is just 15 minutes from our location!

Imposible estacionarse y es un tercer piso|

Mu bonita, limpia y en general bien. Sin embargo, éramos5 personas en un vehículo grande que me indicaron que "no cabía en el garage", que debá buscar un lugar cerca (en la calle). Es imposible estacionarse afuera, todos los campos ocupados en una milla a la redonda. Si llevas equipaje FATAL, es en un tercer piso, subir y bajar el equipaje es casi imposible.

Excellent property, great location.

Property is clean well maintained. Quite neighborhood in the evenings. Garage parking for 1 vehicle was great bonus, no searching for steet parking after a busy day. Property manager was great and even helped make sure we received a ups delivery we needed during our stay.a

Nicely decorated

Spent a few days in Chicago for a short family vacation. This VRBO was central to the activities we wanted to do. All went well. A few more nonessential supplies would have been handy- a broom, dish soap, kitchen wash rags for example. No big deal, just suggestions! Thanks!

Extended family get away

The property was perfect for our needs. The house was immaculate. The bathrooms were great. The kitchen was spacious. The garage parking was narrow but the description accurately forewarned of the vehicle size limitations. Location was central to our plans so we were able to drive or Uber around to our activities with ease. We would stay here again and would recommend to friends, family and anyone looking for an alternative to hotel rooms.

Amazing Evanston Brick property

Everything was as described. Pretty entry was to “beautiful lady” of a building. The unit we were in was nicely refurbished. Modern but the old building charm maintained. We traveled light so the in suite laundry was great. Brand new fridge the day we got there. Amazing bedding & towels.

Nice location, close to restaurants and shopping.

Ross, the property manager, is very courteous and helpful. Property clean and well-appointed. Family group with 2 dogs. Took Uber rides into city to see museums and shows. Garage parking was nice. Very quiet neighborhood at night. Overall a nice, well-managed property that we highly recommend.

Beautiful, comfortable stay

The apartment is beautifully decorated and updated. Ross, the host gave us a welcome tour and everything was clearly explained. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. We were relieved our rental minivan (just barely) fit in the garage! We did the kitchen wasn't as well equipped as we would have liked, but we were cooking a Thanksgiving meal which may have been a bit ambitious. The meal turned out well and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Huge great place, nice location and garage parking

Stayed two nights. Great location in Rogers park. Property manager is on site and gave a lovely tour of property. Also had a binder with restaurants, things to do, etc which I appreciate! Large kitchen, laundry, garage parking for car. Everything was lovely!

Beautiful property. The three bedrooms were all spacious. The loving room, dining room, and kitchen were equally spacious. Neighborhood is quiet. An all-around wonderful stay.

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay-- we were in Chicago for a family member's wedding, and this condo fit us all comfortably and was very affordable. The property manager was very kind and easy to communicate with. Our place was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to easily fit a pack and play in one of the rooms for our baby. The only downfall was it took a while to drive to certain areas of Chicago, but that's to be expected. The only downfall was it waexareChibustay.

Enjoyable stay

The onsite manager Ross is a wonderful host and does a great job of showing you the unit and giving you an orientation of the neighborhood. Only downside was that my rental SUV was too large for the garage. Finding street parking can be a challenge, but found good parking spots that made my lack of parallel less challenging. Highly recommend the unit. BTW, stairs only, no elevator.

Pleasant week in Chicago

On our visit we found spaciousness, convenience, locality, and peacefulness both in our rental and around. It was a nice rental as an easy home base to set out of, and a welcome respite to return to. We would rent the unit again, and do hope to be back. Very nice trip and place of stay. Thank you!

Very well maintained

The unit was just as described. It was well maintained and the host was very accommodating. Plenty of room for my family of five. Train station was within walking distance and we made it to downtown Chicago in under an hour. We had trouble finding many family restaurants close by. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Great place to stay!

Condominium was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen cookware. We were in Chicago to do some sightseeing and visit our son. Along with being clean and beautifully decorated, the condominium had a garage and parking spot. The Hyundai Tuscan that my sister in law rented at the airport fit fine (small SUVs). Ross, the unit manager, was there to meet us when we arrived. He showed us the apartment and made us feel comfortable. The house is very secure. There are locked gates and the main door into the condominiums is secured at all times. The entrance to the condo is by key and parking spot is in a secured garage with garage door opener that Ross will go over. The condominium is not far from public transportation. We took Union Pacific North (UPN) about a mile away from the condo and we were at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in under 25 minutes. We loved this place and would stay again!

I love the closeness to Lake Michigan and down town. Evanston home of Northwestern University is with in 2 miles.....a bit more easy going and peaceful. Michigan Avenue (Magnificient Mile)with all of it's exquisite boutiques, Water Tower Place,the Hancock Building, Oak Street, Oak Street Beach, all with in a 15 minute train line on the Union Pacific train which is only 6 blocks away. The Red line will take you to Wrigley Field, Lincoln Park Zoo & down town as well. Wrigley Field home to the World Series Championship Cubs is just 15 minutes from our location!
