From the soothing colors to the fluffy, organic cotton bedding to the lush, inviting garden, Sycamore House has been designed with calming relaxation in mind. Enjoy Fort Wayne's premier zip code; close to every amenity, yet peaceful and quiet. Our adorable cottage offers a main floor master with dual closets, a sumptuous king sized bed, and layers of soft bedding. The office is across the hall in an adorable, quiet little room that can also be used as a guest room with a single daybed. The bathroom is cheery and bright. The new shower/tub and fixtures are divine. Enjoy the thick, organic cotton towels. The dining room is right next to the kitchen and opens to the living room for a bright, friendly space. The living room offers a convenient entry bench to store your shoes, coats, and bags. The leather couches bring comfort and ease to the space while the ROKU TV is easy for you to log into. I absolutely adore the cute kitchen with a brand new dishwasher and coffee/tea station. Off the kitchen, the sun room is my favorite room in the house. It is the perfect place to have a morning coffee or to read a book. Upstairs are two extra bedrooms if needed. Each has their own "personality" but include queen beds with organic cotton bedding and closets. The basement offers a laundry room, ironing board, and space for extra storage. Enjoy outdoor dining on the cute table or relax on the comfortable patio furniture. The back yard is conveniently fenced in and private. Please note: We do not treat our green spaces with any chemicals. It has been such a joy to decorate this sweet cottage with you in mind. Not only will you love this sweet home and neighborhood; you will truly enjoy your close proximity to downtown restaurants, Museum of Art, Botanical Conservatory, Embassy Theater, as well as many festivals. You are close to a variety of grocery stores; our favorites include Pio's Market, Jamison's Meats, and Green Dog Goods. Our award-winning coffee shop, Firefly Coffee, is close and our favorite little ice creamery, The Oh Five Scoop Shop, is a very short 4-block walk. We are 2 miles from the Ice House and less than 1 mile to the Coliseum and Glenbrook Mall area. Of course, we are happy to recommend more of our favorites.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was so welcoming, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Everything was thoughtfully stocked, which made our stay comfortable and convenient from the moment we arrived. We also really appreciated that it was pet-friendly—our furry family member felt right at home too!The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful while still being conveniently located to downtown, which was a great combination. A couple of things to note: the stairs are quite steep, and the beds are on the firmer side, so that may be worth keeping in mind depending on your preferences.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We would happily stay here again and recommend it!

The stay was overall great ! The host Tara was so sweet and replied very fast to any message I sent her. The decor of the home was beautiful and so cozy. The coffee pot and washer/dryer came in handy while we were there. The whole home was clean and comfortable, we throughly enjoyed our stay at the sycamore house !

Adorable is a good word to describe the way Tara has decorated her home for vrbo. The neighbors are friendly, and the neighborhood is quiet and pretty. For us the location was perfect food shopping is minutes away by car.We felt safe in this neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tara!

We have a rescue Boxer, a Frenchie, and a new English bulldog puppy! We have been chosen by a few cats too! 😆 Relaxation is a major theme in all of my designs and I love sharing soft, pretty, comfortable living with our guests!

I grew up in a cape cod similar to Sycamore House. I fell in love with the beautiful plaster throughout. I designed it with the same love I have for my own little childhood home! I am thrilled to share Sycamore House and the neighborhood with our guests.
We love the 05 neighborhood so much, we bought our forever home here to raise our family. We love being close to literally everything Fort Wayne has to offer!

I think Sycamore House features well-thought design. From the minute you pull up to the house, I want you to feel like it’s a real home. The mix of textiles, from real leather sofas to organic cotton bedding all invoke comfort. The gardens bring an element of relaxation. Sycamore house has books to read and even a game cabinet. The throws are all from Fort Wayne’s own Vera Bradley. I carefully chose color pallets to bring fresh and cozy living. Maybe you will notice, the dining room rug has a Star Wars print! 😆 I just know you will love Sycamore House as much as I do!
