Ponderosa Cabin is a secluded cabin on a hilltop with a half a mile driveway. PLEASE Drive a all wheel or four wheel drive vehicle from December to Macrch in case it snows .It's located 1 mile and 8/10s from Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills(1 mile hike through the property)Enjoy our 2-bedroom, one bath cabin with an electric fireplace. 50" tv with satellite and antenna channels along with wireless internet. Full kitchen with cooking utensils and tableware. Enjoy the 6-person hot tub on large, covered porch with outdoor furniture. Fire ring and gas grill with large yard. WE ALSO HAVE TWO OTHER CABINS ON THE PROPERTY /STARR VALLEY AND DAKOTA TRAIL ,BOTH ARE SIMULAR IN SIZE BUT CLOSER TO THE PARK off Sr 664 . All the guests enjoy the seclusion ,privacy and large area for children and pets . $50.00 pet fee per stay, don't forget to check ✅ the box .(click the box that says Travelers,then the pets 🐕 box comes up .

Loved this cabin! It was very clean and had plenty of amenities and anything needed for the stay. The hot tub was very nice too! Also very secluded in the woods so it was pretty quiet.

Hot tub - very clean; kitchen - very clean; streaming service not smooth, would have preferred higher quality pillows and bedding - fortunately, we brought our own pillows. Otherwise, great location, no problems, very peaceful

We spent a week in this cabin. The scenery is beautiful! We saw wild turkeys, deer, and many other birds. At night we heard a barred owl. We arrived the day before torrential downpours. The driveway gravel got washed away in places but the host was there early the next morning to repair the damage. I highly recommend this cabin!

Im glad you enjoyed your stay . This year has been challenging with the hilly half mile long driveway. One week i had to re grade it 3 times due to flash flooding. Thanks for being understanding.

The Cabin is clean and comfortable. Everything is in working order including the hot tub. The location is perfect. It's secluded and near to all the great hiking spots.

Trip was great, but too much rain before we got there. Tubing trip was cancelled and golf course was cart path only.

Im sorry it rained a lot and ruined your tubing trip and gulf plans . We dont have any control of the weather and heavy rainfall. We have never seen flash flooding and heavy rains in August.

Driving up, we were wondering if we were going the right way because it was so secluded but that was just our city kid brains talking. When we pulled up, it was amazing how easy it was to just get in and it had everything we needed. Not too far from hiking trails and Grandma Faye’s store which was very welcoming. Had everything we needed and we cooked a very nice steak dinner on the final night.

Had no contact with the host after we were told it was ready. Needs to be aware of-VERY Active WASP Nest right above the steps on the porch! Silverware-only have 3 forks and 3 spoons, plenty of knives. Only one roll of toilet paper and no extra lightbulbs. It would be helpful to have hooks to hang towels. Three of us- my husband and I and my younger sister. Love the location, quiet and comfortable.

Thank you for the great review and information about a wasp nest ,missing silverware. Whe have self check in usually don't have any contact with the guests unless they contact for extra items or information.

Cabin was very clean and had a lot of personality in it. The size was perfect for our trip and the price was great as well. The temperature was perfect at night and we enjoyed our stay. We saw some wildlife including a turtle. Property is maintained especially the walking path and gravel driveway.
