A private road leads to tastefully updated home overlooking scenic Shinnecock Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Lush foliage and bordering preserve provides privacy. The open floor plan includes a double sided, wood burning fireplace situated between the dining and living rooms. The kitchen includes a SubZero fridge with ice maker, JenAir gas range with griddle and Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The wet bar and eat in kitchen complete this room. The dining room seat eight for intimate entertainment. A full wall of sliding glass doors from the dining and living area lead out to the back deck. Here you will find a Weber grill, additional seating and a teak dining set for al fresco dining under the stars. A queen bedroom and separate full bath with shower are also found on this level.
On the lower level, the Primary bedroom with king bed includes an en suite bath complete with shower and claw foot tub. Walk out to the pool and yard from double doors. Additionally, there is a queen bedroom with a sliding door leading to the pool. The fourth bedroom has twin beds and between these two bedrooms is a full bathroom, complete with shower and bathtub. Washer and dryer can be found in the garage, also on this lower level.
Outdoors, enjoy a freeform, gunite pool (open from May-October), a patio with retractable awning, a horseshoe pit and an outdoor shower. The best part of this property is the private access to the beach. Steps down from the house lead you to a beach where you can swim, go clamming, fish or walk the beach looking for seaglass and shells. Perfect house for family getaways! Please keep in mind that from Memorial Day through Labor Day there is a 2 week minimum.
