The house was perfect for our family’s stay. Well furnished, everything matched the listing and was cool, clean, and comfortable. All appliances worked flawlessly. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the laundry room and freezer were very helpful. The boat lift was much appreciated and it saved us a lot of time not having to trailer the boat each day. The host was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely request to stay again. Our only suggestion that might have improved our experience is to include a full size or queen bed upstairs in the loft to replace a couple twin beds. We understand that twin beds are great for families with a lot of kids, but would accommodate another couple if there was a larger bed available.

Sister Trip

My husband and three of my sisters took a short spring trip to this lovely home. The house is well stocked with necessary kitchenwares, bed linens, towels and bath items.Our second stay at this home and my sister’s first trip to Matagorda. We had a great time fishing on the home’s pier and looking for shells at the beach. We had one rainy morning that we spent visiting, working jigsaw puzzles and crafting. We also shopped at Palacios and then bought jasmine rice at HG Rice Mill.

This property is amazing. Kitchen is very equipped with everything and the beds are so comfortable. Cabin was very clean and smelled amazing. Martha was so easy to work with. Will definitely go back

Yearly Matagorta Trip

We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t have any problems at all with the property. Everything worked and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us adults. We caught plenty of fish right off the dock and the area seems safe. We will be back!

Beautiful House with a great fishing dock

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had a great outdoor space to stretch out and fish. Indoors was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed.

Pleasantly surprised at the house and amenities. Fishing was horrible. Plenty of crabs to catch if that is what you want. A surprise tropical storm and storm surge around house and other properties. Wish there were a few more amenities in Matagorda.

Home Sweet Home

This is such a great place! The downstairs patio area has picnic tables, a swing, bathroom and laundry room. Our group ranged in age from 17 to 95 and we were all very comfortable. Martha was quick to respond to our texts and answer questions.The floor plan allowed our 3 households to merge under one roof with each family having their own bedroom and bathroom. This is our third year in this area and it is the best home we have stayed in and hope to come again. I highly recommend the property.

Great time.

The house is nice and comfortably sleeps many people. The kids loved the loft area. All the amenities worked. The view from the upper deck is beautiful.

What an AWESOME PLACE to stay!!!!!

Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful, clean and very spacious camp. We greatly enjoyed the comfort of the house, fishing on the dock and the location right between the beach, fishing jetty's and town. We would love to stay here again next year. I did forget to clean the grill, so hope this wasn't much trouble. Thanks again!!!!!!!

Perfect place for a group!

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this place is. It is perfectly placed in between the beach and the City of Matagorta. We caught several fish off the lighted dock and there are plenty of rod holders for several rods. Highly recommend!!
