Welcome to Liney's Lookout, an inviting Colonial-style 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cottage nestled in the serene enclave of Buttonwood Bay. Perfectly crafted for relaxation, this charming abode offers an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, inviting you to unwind and savor moments of tranquility.

Step into the fabulous back patio adorned with beautifully landscaped grounds and a private pool—a secluded haven where you can bask in the peaceful ambiance and relish in your own slice of paradise. Upstairs, the master bedroom balcony offers peek-a-boo views of the mesmerizing Sea of Abaco, allowing you to catch glimpses of breathtaking sunsets in the distance.

Conveniently located near Firefly Resort and centrally positioned on the island, Liney's Lookout provides easy access to town via a short golf cart ride, ensuring effortless exploration of the surrounding area.

The upper level boasts a master king bedroom and a second twin bedroom, both complemented by en-suite bathrooms, offering comfort and privacy. Downstairs, a pullout couch provides additional sleeping space with a convenient half-bath.

For added convenience, the home offers access to a washer/dryer for an additional fee. Guests can request use of this amenity at $75 for one day or $300 for the week, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Please note that Liney's Lookout does not have a backup generator.

**Weekly rates for this tranquil retreat range from $2300 to $2600, subject to variations based on guest count and seasonal changes. Please note that rates may adjust even after the rental commences in response to changes in guest count.

Loved the house and location!

My family loved this property and enjoyed having the pool. The location is great and the caretakers were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely private place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just had an amazing 2 weeks stay at Liney's Lookout. The house was the perfect size with lots of space in the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen, lounge and eating area was great also with lots of room and comfortable furniture. We enjoyed the pool and patio area also. The only downside to our stay was the lack of a generator the 2 days we had a power outage in the 90 degree heat. Otherwise we were very happy and would definitely book again. Jesi Sands from Elbow Cay Properties was very helpful also.

Awesome stay!

Loved every bit of the house. Kids loved the pool after a long boat day, easy to get around. Would definitely recommend! We plan to come back!

Our Stay

ONLY issue was in the neighborhood……our cart was chased by an angry looking dog which caused us to our side of the loop and not the smoother road on the other side of the loop. This house is a perfect location, mid point between town and Seaspray marina, next door to Firefly and only 5 minutes to Abaco Inn. “Private” pool is nice if you ignore the security cameras on the outside of the house. The washer/dryer is a bit unreasonable at 75.00 for the day. We WILL stay there again.

Great House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely, comfortable, clean home, absolutely loved the huge deck and pool! The landscaping was gorgeous as well. Beautiful porches with a little peek at the water. Good location in between town and Tahiti Beach, make sure you get a golf cart. Wish List: a generator, access to the washer/dryer, no roosters crowing! I hadn’t been to Hope Town since pre-Dorian, so lots of changes, and lots of rebuilding going on. I would definitely come back to Liney’s Lookout!

Amazing Vacation

It was centrally located on the island so everything was just a short golf cart ride away. We used Sunset Exclusive dockage for our boat which was just a few minutes away and that worked out great. The pool was a nice feature to come home to after a long day on the boat but we also stayed home one windy day and were in and out of the pool all day. Perfect. The property is very private despite having homes next to it. All the appliances and cooking supplies were adequate and we used the grill quite a bit as well. The deck has sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again with my family of four.

Great house convenient to lots of things

We have a very large family and most were staying at a resort very close by but couldn’t accommodate us all so we booked Liney House for extra room. It was great. Convenient to beach, hopetown, stores, and local restaurants.

This house is a nice house, only recommenadation for house is to add generator.It would have been nice if the pool had been cleaned and serviced before our arrival because it took 3 days for the pool service company to come out.There are some wooden chairs that need sanding on the arm rest so a child does not get splinters.We look forward to our next trip in June. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place is great. Centrally located and mostly private. Wanted to mention a few things that need attention : TV gets no channels, not sure if the service was turned off, or if something was unplugged. No hot water in the guest bath sink. Shelving in the refrigerator needs repair, it makes it difficult to place things in there for fear they will collapse. Need more weight on the base of the outdoor umbrella, even a moderate breeze will tip it over if opened. There should be a mention of the surveillance cameras in the listing, in case someone has issue with their presence. None of these are deal breakers, just wanted to bring them to your attention.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your review and for letting us know about each issue. Unfortunately cable is not hooked up to this property yet, it is a smart TV that you can stream or use Netflix or Hulu. We will have someone check the hot water in the guest bathroom and the shelving in the refrigerator. We have made a suggestion to the owner about the cameras to make sure they are turned off when guests arrive. We appreciate you bringing this all to our attention.
