Great Beach Days

The accommodations were exactly as anticipated and excellent for our little group. Good communication and response. We appreciate and very much enjoyed the property.

Excellent with minimal annoyances

The scenery, location, and condo/lanai space were awesome. The whales were plentiful and fun to watch. However, the second bedroom had been advertised with a small fridge and coffee maker. It had neither. The televisions were nice but lots of streaming problems while trying to watch a program. One of the kitchen chairs had a loose leg and we were afraid to use it. There was a red light on the microwave stating "reset filter" and we did not find any way to follow the instructions. The availabilty of a pay washer and dryer on the same floor was convenient but according to the book complementary detergent was to have been provided. There was none and when we asked housekeeping on the floor they refused to give us any stating we were "privately owned." The assigned parking spot was so small that passengers had to exit before pulling into the spot. Overall......very pleased with the unit and if we vacation on Maui again will likely return. teprogr television and available

We really enjoyed our trip. The view and location on the beach was exceptional. Our Vrbo host Igor was very accomodating and kind. We hope that we can visit again next year

Fantastic Stay

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The view from the balcony was breathtaking – simply magical! The condo was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and Victoria was extremely communicative and accommodating. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by a day! We can't wait to return.

Great owner with an awesome unit

We have stayed at the Mana Kai over a dozen times and this unit was definitely up there with the nicest of them all. Owner was extremely flexible for our check in time and communication was a breeze. Will certainly be returning next year.

Awesome place!

I would come back here in a heartbeat! We loved the view. We saw whales and beautiful sunsets from the balcony daily. The sound of the ocean pulled us to sleep. Everything was clean and there was nothing lacking. The location was excellent. Quiet with friendly people. Pool was perfect temperature. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing!

I have been traveling to one of the Hawaiian islands for the past 30 years and sometimes twice a year. Almost all have been condos rented out by owners. This property is exactly as described and the views are amazing! Check in was easy and communication with the owner was immediate. We will be back again and urge anyone else considering this condo to not hesitate! Thank you, Victoria, will be renting again!

AMAZING VIEWS! Gorgeous

The views are unbeatable! Wake up and open the blinds and the sunshine and sounds of waves hit you! We saw whales from the balcony and sea turtles on the beach. Air conditioning is a plus (a lot of places we looked at did not have that). Property has a nice pool, beach chairs and a mini convenient store. I will say the layout of the unit is a bit strange…the back bedroom is a totally separate unit (have to go through the locked doors to get to it). Not a negative, just something to be aware of (it is actually quieter and cooler back there if you want). Bring your toiletries (or buy some from the convenient store downstairs). They give a very small “starter pack”. The unit itself is nice and you can tell recently renovated. Restaurants in the “town” of Kihei are local laid back (we loved Three’s Bar”). If you go towards wailea there are more upscale restaurants. Definitely recommend this stay!!

Had an amazing time

We had an amazing time, we liked our condo, beautiful view and the rooms and beds worked out great for our family of 5. The grounds and Pool is clean and lovely. The beach is amazing and the snorkeling right on our own reef is amazing. We 100% would love to stay here again. We really liked the staff here too, and the gym in the basement is big with great work out equipment. We loved how past guests leave stuff like sand toys etc, we donated kids life jackets and goggles. Only suggestion i would say is add a couple of rugs maybe by the front door and slider door and a rug on the sides of the bed, due to the sand it does stick to the feet no matter how hard you try. 😀 love this place!

Can't beat the Mana Kai ...

Been coming to various units in Mana Kai for years... first time in this one. Can't beat location and sound of the waves! We would like to suggest a new toaster, new weather stripping on front door to help with whistling during afternoon winds, maybe check the seal to toilet in master bathroom to the tile, a few more cooking pans and large bowl for pasta or salad would be great!

Views are spectacular from room and front entrance. Property is nice with a great beach for snorkeling and swimming. Property was being renovated so the restaurant and gym were closed was the only disappointment.

Beautiful unit with all necessities. There is construction going on downstairs that is a bit loud jackhammers.

Two weeks in paradise!

Renting this property was very easy. The only hiccup we had was getting our entry codes to the room. Evidently they sent the email to the wrong address and we had to go to property manager to get our codes. Could use a little more kitchen items such as bowls and knives without serrated edges for chopping vegetables. Also new frying pans as those were scratched up pretty badly. We did a lot of cooking. Otherwise, we love the Mana Kai and have stayed there many times!!!!

Relaxing getaway

What a stellar view! This property's lanai and view from the main bedroom is without compare. The location is accurately considered a premium spot. Layout of the units (we used the full two bedrooms and two bathrooms) worked perfectly for our situation. Appliances were updated and very clean. Though we didn't use the various beach chairs and other available outside gear available in the main closet, it was thoughtful of the owners to have those accessories available. It can get a little windy in the evening (tradewinds) and there is sometimes a "tea kettle whistle" effect that happens with the front door transom window, but we actually thought it was kind of sweet and funny. We would HAPPILY come back to this unit. The owners were super easy to communicate and work with. They have a lot to be proud of with this property. You definitely would enjoy staying here!

You cannot beat this location!!

So I will say that the floors had not been cleaned, and the sheets in the second room were stained. A dust pan (there was a broom but no pan) and especially a mop would have been greatly helpful. However, that being said this condo is absolutely incredible and I will absolutely return again soon! You really cannot beat this location! The giant patio has the most gorgeous view. The room is beautiful and very well updated and stocked. It was great having chairs, an umbrella, and other beach/pool items provided. Beds and pillows were very comfortable which was a big deal for me having had back surgery earlier this year. The pool was very warm and perfect for afternoons when the ocean got too rough to enjoy. We brought our own snorkel gear but there was some in the condo too. We went snorkeling every day right off the beach here and saw loads of fish and various turtles every day, it was incredible! I had even paid for a snorkel tour and we saw way more just off the beach at the condo vs the tour to the crater which was quite pricey. There are loads of fantastic restaurants and shopping nearby, we never had to go more than a few minutes up the road for amazing food. I never received an email from vacasa before arrival but had called when we landed in Maui and it was super easy to get situated plus the gal was so nice and quick to send me info. I was provided a code from vacasa for the room and checked in at the desk where they gave me the parking pass. I had messaged the owner as well before arrival who was very friendly and also very quick to reply even though they were on vacation themself. I really can't say enough positive things about this condo!!!! I can't wait to go back!

Great Vacation

Condo is everything it says it is. Very clean, beds are comfortable. Everything you need including beach chairs and umbrella. View and beach are wonderful. Will definitely live to come back!!

Direct oceanfront. You can observe the whales directly from your balcony. There is always shade on the balcony, we let our 2 year old nap there during the day.
Full ocean view from the back bedroom. Only one more unit before 602, so no 'foot traffic' past the back bedroom
