Fabulous vacation, best ever.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 10 days and each day better than the next. Great location, wonderful beach, pool next to a lush garden. The condo was perfect, large well equipped kitchen. Close to shopping and dining options. We keep coming back because we love it so. Third time staying there. The property managers provided great customer service, made our stay extra special.

Great property and location

The place was ideal for our part of four and in a wonderful location in Kihie. The host was incredibly accommodating, and the unit was very clean.

Great Location

Condo is located on a great beach good for kids and snorkeling. Beach never gets too crowded and there are plenty of options for food nearby. Condo was stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for the kids which was nice.

Great Place To Stay On The Beach

We love the Hale Hui Kai! It’s such a chill spot. The condo was very clean and well stocked including beach chairs, ice chests, boogie boards. Martha and her team was very accommodating and gracious. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beachside Condo

Wonderful location on a beautiful beach with sunsets that can't be beat. The owners have thoughtfully supplied it with everything you need for a week at the beach. WiFi and air-conditioning were perfect. Only downside was shared laundry.

Family vacation

This was an absolute pleasure of a place!! Location was wonderful for the kids!! Right on the ocean front no streets to cross!! Love would definitely recommend!! Also a lot more goodies in the porch box for the beach then listed!! Awesome surprise!!

Spring Break at Hale Hui Kai

This unit was great - super well stocked and clean, and a working smart TV. Hale Hui Kai is such a great spot, it’s hard to go wrong. We had an absolute blast. Martha was also fantastic to work with on the booking. This particular unit has a little bit of road and parking lot noise, due to its location, but it didn’t bother us. We were perfectly happy.

Perfect!

Our family of 4 had our first trip to the island and had an amazing time! The condo was perfect in every way. The unit was clean and very well stocked with anything we could possibly need. Martha was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking another week at her condo next summer!

Wonderful

The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Very thoughtfully stocked kitchen, with spices and many other necessities. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella and other beach supplies also provided. The beach right in front of the building was amazing, the pool looked good too but we didn't have time to use it. Thank you!

Wander down to the beach any old time

This place is in a cool old building with chill old timers who have been coming for years. Quiet and convenient. Convenience store a couple buildings over. Very well equipped with beach supplies. Nice natural area within walking distance. On the last day we walked all the way down the beach path in the shishi side of town and felt smug.

Fully equipped kitchen, tons of outdoor toys to take advantage to the 2 mile long beach, as well as tons of games and stuff for when the wind or rain kicks up. We had a blast and will be back.

Everything you need is here!

The host of this VRBO has made sure that this unit has everything you need while you are here. It is as if they are expecting their family and friends at any moment. The unit was very clean and comfortable with everything in excellent condition. The pool area is just steps from the beach! There is just a little bit of extra noise because this unit is near the parking lot and recycling bin. The Double Tree Hotel entrance is seen from the kitchen windows. The porch is very private and the plants completely screen the view - as shown in the picture. Everything you need for the beach is here. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils to cook a nice meal. There are plenty of towels, pillows, and extra blankets. The air conditioning is excellent. It is controlled separately in each bedroom and living area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the Hale Hui Kai complex is great if you are looking to stay in South Kihei. The beach is great for swimming and snorkling. The condo is updated and spacious and clean. Because of the lack of windows and foliage around the small balcony, the condo is dark so it's not someplace you want to hangout long but the common area is lovely and overlooks the pool and ocean with views of Molokini. The back rooms are very warm; even with the portable AC units and fans (in August) so if being hot while you are sleeping is a concern I'd look for another unit. It was well stocked with kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkling gear so you do not need to pack any of that with you wich is nice. Manager was prompt, friendly, and professional

Condo Stay In Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was equipped with most of what we needed and that was helpful since we flew in from Atlanta, GA. However, there was a constant 'damp' smell in the bedrooms. It was not mold but due to the rooms getting no light whatsoever, a damp smell permeated the beadrooms and you could not get rid of it. The condo also had an extremely poor internet connection which contantly was spinning and re-connecting. Everything is viewed through the internet now; calls, TV, laptops, computers, phone - and having a good connection is critical. We could not watch any TV in the condo due to constant connection problems and it was the same with our ipads. Very frustrating. There also should be easier access to the laundry room. No information was given as to hours of operation for the laundry, how to get the access code for the laundry to work, etc.

Aloha Karla, Thank you for your feedback. We are updating the internet equipment, as we speak. This has not been mentioned to us before, so we are immediately addressing this situation. Had you brought this to our attention, during your stay, we would have gladly replaced the internet router and modem. In fact, the hours that the laundry rooms are open is posted in each of the 3 laundry rooms. The site manager does not give out the code for entry to the laundry rooms as they are unavailable other than the times posted. I agree with you regarding the damp scent in the bedrooms. This is why I encourage people to open up the windows, turn on the fans, and open up the front door in order to move air throughout the bedrooms and to give the AC a break. Prior to your arrival, I sent several pictures of the contents of the cabinets in the kitchen, condiments in the refrigerator and amenities in the linen closet, so you knew exactly what was available to you. I feel that I went above and beyond in providing you with additional information before your stay, as you were in contact with me several times. I am truly surprised by your rating, as we would have helped with ideas and solutions to each of the problems mentioned. We hoped you enjoyed Keawakapu Beach, one of the most beautiful in the state of Hawaii. A Hui Ho.
